Salin left the safe house at the first light of dawn. The transporter beamed him to his hover car from the Polar’s house. He drove to the Gafiel villa and, when checking the rear mirror, he spotted someone following him.
If Meviz believed this would give her any clue about what was going on, she was more stupid than he thought.
On his way to the manor, he listened to the businessman’s file he had downloaded from the computer in the safe house.
