Confused, Ethan replied, "What name?"

Clara clarified, "Your name."

Ethan, puzzled, responded, "Didn't Klein just mention that my name is Ethan Sinclair?"

"Rogue! Show some respect to Miss Walport!" Klein scolded Ethan loudly.

Clara waved her hand nonchalantly and remarked, "Ethan, considering you share the same surname as the CEO of Walt Disney, I'm willing to offer you a way out."

The crowd was left in a state of shock, with the Reynolds family particularly stunned by the revelation in the previous sentence.

The fact that the new CEO of Walt Disney also bore the surname Sinclair had captured their attention.

"I finally discovered the surname of the Walt Disney CEO," Old Ms. Mimi exclaimed, her spirits lifted.

"How can someone as insignificant as Ethan hold as much weight as a multimillion-dollar deal?" one person questioned incredulously.

Sophie, eager for more information, stepped forward and inquired, "Miss Walport, what is Mr. Sinclair's full name?"

Clara smiled and responded, "Mr. Sinclair prefers to keep a low profile for now. I'm sorry, but I can't disclose that information at this time."

In reality, Clara herself was unaware of his full name. She only knew that he shared the surname Sinclair and was a young person.

Ethan couldn't help but deduce that Clara was unaware of his position as the CEO of Walt Disney; otherwise, she wouldn't have made the request for him to light her cigarette.

With a grin, Ethan inquired, "Miss Walport, how do you propose to provide me with an exit strategy?"

Clara responded, "Simply apologize sincerely to Old Ms. Mimi, Alexander, and your spouse with humility. If you do so, I will intervene and help resolve the situation."

"In addition, I am willing to offer you a position as my personal bodyguard with an annual salary of $40,000," she continued.

Her announcement sparked a commotion among the onlookers.

"Miss Walport is shielding that Ethan! Why?" one voice questioned.

"If he kneels and expresses regret, he won't face a backlash. He may even become the bodyguard of Miss Walport. That scoundrel would surely agree!" another voice chimed in.

Clara gazed at Ethan with a mix of emotions, stirring a sense of jealousy in Maya's heart.

In a hushed tone, Alexander expressed, "We can't allow Ethan an easy way out. Isn't Miss Walport typically on good terms with us? Why isn't she supporting us in this situation?"

Ethan playfully pinched Clara's ear with his right hand and repeated firmly, "I refuse!"

"How dare you lay a hand on Miss Walport?!" Klein shouted, though he hesitated to approach.

Ethan extended his hand and said, "I apologize, Miss Walport. I thought you might have a hearing impairment, and I was concerned you wouldn't hear me. That's why I raised my voice."

"Very well, Ethan. You certainly have nerve!" Clara responded, clearly taken aback by Ethan's behavior.

Feeling disrespected by her live-in son-in-law, Clara decided that there was no longer any reason for her to defend him.

"In that case, I, Cara, Deputy President of the Walt Disney Company, stand in solidarity with the Reynolds family and hereby disassociate Ethan from any future opportunities," she declared with respect.
