Alex's POV

I just received a shocking call from someone I least expected. Someone i completely cut ties with after she cheated on me. My ex girlfriend Sophia. What did she want this time?

"Hello handsome. I've missed you so much" she sounded very excited.

"What do you want Sophia?. Why are you calling me?

"Can we just talk Alex?. Also I'm in town and I would like to meet you at your place this evening. We need to talk. In person. It's been quite a while".

I wasn't interested in meeting Sophia but I was quite curious to know what she wanted us to talk about. Also I wanted to know what she has been upto since I broke up with her. But considering the fact that there's someone else to replace her now. I had to reconsider.

"Sophia, I don't thin..."

"Alex you can't decline my request. I'll be there at 8. I Can't wait to see you my love!" She hung up immediately without letting me say anything.

I put my phone back into my pocket and walked back to where Ethan and I were working. Starring down at the files in my hand. I could feel Ethan's gaze upon me. He was probably wondering who I was talking to or why I looked uneasy.

"Ethan, are you aware that Sophia is back in town?"

"Sophia? Owh yeah of course. I think she flew into LA like two days ago." He casually responded

"So you knew my ex girlfriend was in town and you didn't bother to tell me".

"I didn't think it would matter to you. It's not that important. I only found out because we still follow each other on i********: and apparently I just happened to come across her i********: story on that day".

Ethan did have a point. Why would I even care. Sophia and I ended things a very long time ago. Plus mia is in the picture now. I wanted what mia and I had to blossom into something very beautiful. I didn't want to mess things up with her. Sophia being in this city right now will only just ruin things for me. I couldn't help but pick up my phone and go straight to the i********: application in my phone. I clicked on the search bar and typed her name in. I noticed the first profile that popped up belonged to her so I immediately tapped on it and began to scroll down. I scrolled through her profile. And being careful enough not to accidentally like any photo. Paris is such a beautiful city so why in the world would she come back LA. Now this is what I'm curious about. And there's only one way to find out which is by meeting up with her at home! Oh my gosh.

Few hours later, office hours were over. People were already starting to leave. I packed my things and arranged the files then I arranged my files and documents, picked up my suit and walked out of the office holding my suitcase in my hand. I locked my the doors and walked out of the office.

"Don't forget to lock up guys!" I shouted.

I got into my car and drove straight to a fancy restaurant to get a drink and place a call across to mia. I took and seat and placed an order. While that was in process I picked up my phone and called Mia.

"Hello? Mia? How are you?! With a big smile on my face.

"Hi Alex! How are you? I was actually expecting your call" She sounded so excited to hear my voice.

"I thought you ghosted after the other night" she chuckled.

"Mia why would I do that. I missed you today! How was work?"

"Today at work was very hectic. The studio was packed! You know we had tourists over today. And it's going to be that way all through the week".

"Mm I guess you'll be busy this week then?". My drink finally arrived. I took it from the waiter and then took a sip from it.

"Yeap, the rest of the day will be same as today. After all of this I'll definitely need a vacation" she laughed.

"Mm I'll be glad to sponsor" I chuckled but I wasn't joking. I meant every word. A talented and beautiful woman like Mia deserved the best.

"So let's talk about you a bit. How was work?"

I didn't want to tell her about Sophia just yet. So she wouldn't start asking more and more questions. " Work was very fine. Just the usual nothin new or serious, except the fact that I left work early today."

She laughed again" Alex you leaving work late isn't something different."

"Seriously?. I'm the CEO and I usually leave very early so I guess this does count."

She chuckled" Alex you're so funny you know that right?"

"I guess so".

" So where are you, you sound like you're eating something"

"Owh yea I'm at a restaurant. Just stopped by to grab a drink and relax a bit and then call you of course"

"Oh stop it Alex!" She chuckled I was flattering her.

We talked for a bit longer."so my dear mia. I think I'll take my leave now and call you later? Is that okay?".

"Yea of course! T.T.Y.L then"

I hung up the phone. It quickly jumped into my head that I was supposed to meet Sophia. To avoid wasting any more time. I paid the bill and then walked out of the restaurant and into my car. I drove straight home. I parked the car in the garage and walked into my own house. On my way to the staircase.

"Hi babeeee!"

"Oh my gosh! Sophia!what are you doing here? How did you even get in here? You startled me" I had already dropped my keys on the floor already .

"Welcome home my love!"

"What do you mean by welcome home my love? You haven't answered any of my questions Sophia!"

"Can you just calm down a bit! Did you forget I still have the spare key".

Oh so that's how she got in. The memory quickly rushed into my head.

"You could have atleast called me Sophia? And you'll have to return that spare key! You don't just walk into people's homes without their consent even if you have the spare key!"

"Can you just relax Alex!" I already poured in a drink for you! Come come".

She walked upto me. Taking off my suit and taking my suitcase from me. She held my arm pressing her boobs against the back of my arm. She directed me straight to the sofa in the living room. We both sat down. She then handed my drink over to me.

"Sophia hasn't changed one bit. Still the same old red lipstick girly. The charming blue eyes and great fashion sense. I could perceive her scent. Like beautiful roses in a medow. Her smile so beautiful and contagious. Her eyes shine bright like the sun on a beautiful Sunday morning.

"Sophia what are you doing back here in LA?. I I thought you were gone for good

"Gone for good? Alex you Sill haven't changed! Do you really want me out of your life that bad?. Don't forget I only just went for work. Just for a year. That's all and also to have a great time. Yeah just that nothing more or else. How could I leave my city. Paris is beautiful but I love love love LA!" She sounded so happy and excited.

"So for how long will you be here then?"

"What?! I'm here to stay Alex didnt you hear me the first time?. Finally we can resolve our issues" taking another sip from her drink.

She placed her hands on my thighs. Her touch was so soft and smooth. She began to rub her hands gently and slowly on my thighs. Like she was trying to seduce me in a way. I got lost in all of that for a few seconds before I snapped back and shifted my legs.

"What issues are there to resolve Sophia? There's no issue to be resolved. Whatever we had is in the past and should be remain in the past."

What did Sophia mean by resolve issues? Did she want us to get back together?. I thought Ive gotten over her? Why do I feel different when she touches me and when she looks at me with those beautiful eyes. Sophia has always been a manipulative and controlling woman. I cannot afford to fall into her trap!

"So how was your fashion show and everything. How was Paris" Of course i was trying to change the subject. Trying not to maintain eye contact my eyes were fixed on the upper part of her boobs that were bulging out of the beautiful wide v-necked top she was wearing. Her cleavage was something I couldn't take my eyes off her.

"Owh the fashion show was amazing. And Paris was so enjoyable. Popularly known as the city of love. City for lovers. If only we hadn't broken up we would have been there together.

She starred directly into my eyes with the look of innocent in her eyes. Was she trying to play games with me! This woman right here cheated on me of course with my best friend who I've completely cut out of my life. Now she's back again giving me a tempting look like she was just begging me to come at her at this point. She placed her hands on my hands rubbing it gently and smoothly again. I touch was so soft and sent shivers down my spine. I know I didn't want to do this. I had to control myself. I didn't want to do anything stupid or even have more secrets to hide from mia. Or myself.

I immediately stood up from the sofa placing the drink back on the centre table. "Sophia thank you for the drink. Leave the keys on the table before you go. I enjoyed this having a drink with you. Also welcome back to LA. As I was about to walk upstairs to get a shower and get changed. she stood up immediately

"Wait! Alex where are you going" she walked faster towards me.

She grabbed the back of my arm letting her boobs rub against the back of my arm with so much pressure she walked beside me while at it.

"Why are you in such a hurry to leave! We didn't even get to finish our drinks. You're in such a rush. We didn't even get to talk about why invited you here". She spoke with a light soft voice.like she was begging me.

Although she actually had a point. I completely forgot the main reason I came here in the first place. I'm trying to avoid whatever she's trying to make happen. I sensed Sophia was trying to make me do something stupid with her. I tried so hard to overcome this temptation standing right behind me.

"Are you seriously going to leave without wanting to know the reason I called you?.

I just ignored her and walked upstairs to my room while she just kept persuading me. I didn't want to push her off my back so she wouldn't fall and get injured. So But I was curious. And I was also risking my relationship with Mia. But I and Mia aren't official yet so whatever happens wouldn't count right?.

"C'mon Alex. Come on! She begged and begged in a pitiful tone like she was going to start shedding tears if I didn't give her attention. Typical Sophia. While we were in the bedrooms I held her by the arm and pulled her to face me. I starred down at her while she starred up at me.

"fine Sophia! Let's talk!"
