Intruder.

260 Words
The front room was in a mess, paint had spilled on the floor pooling like blood. The stench of another wolf filled the air. His own eyes stared out at him from the canvas. Claw marks cleaved his face in two. Willow sank down shaking, paler than he had ever seen her. 'I will protect you', he said. 'Who will protect you', she said. ' Don't look like that, I am not doubting you I just don't want you hurt'. 'I don't want you hurt either', he said looking at her as if she was crazy. 'Where does that leave us', she whispered. 'It means I will be staying here, from now on. Till we figure out what to do', he said. She knew he would take no argument from her. Their care free lovemaking had to be put on hold for now. Hunter looked around the flat, he was figuring out the best ways to defend her home. He would have to ramp up Willows security and consider taking her away for a while. None of this made sense. He knew Willow was hated in the pack, to some degree. He could never find the truth of why though. Not one of the pack though would expose the pack in this way. The pack tried their best to stay convert. Packs who didn't were soon driven out or destroyed. If he could find out who was doing this, he would single them out. He would oust them from the pack. They would be rogue and hunted all their days.
