The light from the small pieces of diamonds arranged in a star shape attached to the gold circle the size of my ring finger made my eyes blink rapidly.
Noah stroked my wrinkled forehead while laughing. "This is just a ring and it's not too expensive. I'll replace it with something better when we get your grandfather and your brother's blessing."
