Timothy held Diana in a burning stare, as if he meant to read everything she was hiding. Diana flinched. Her face tightened, then cooled, and she answered him in a flat voice. She said, "So now you decide to come running after her. Where were you these past few days?" Timothy was already losing patience, and he had no interest in trading vague jabs with her, so his voice dropped to match hers. He said, "If she wants to fight with me, then fine.
