Three years passed. Florence walked out of the international airport holding Nancy by the hand. The girl had grown a good few inches taller since they left. A strikingly beautiful woman trailed close behind. Daisy carried a bag over one shoulder, her expression sour, and she said, "Florence, how is it fair that you only have to hold Nancy's hand while I'm the one dragging the luggage for all three of us?" Florence glanced back at her. What struck her was how much younger Daisy looked now, far softer than the woman she had been three years ago.
