I kept my eyes closed. I didn't want to see the swirling bright colours of the Time Tunnel. I didn't want anything so beautiful associated with what had just happened.
When I landed in the Void, I still kept them closed. Once I opened my eyes, I would have to face the reality of what had just happened.
