PART TWO: The room was dark, save for the dim glow of the overhead lamp, casting long, skeletal shadows across the concrete floor. A sharp, metallic scent hung thick in the air, mingling with the stale smell of sweat and fear. Sebastian Beau Leclair stood in the doorway, his silhouette tall and imposing, the light revealing just enough of his face to show a cold, detached interest. He watched, silent and unmoving, as the scene played out before him. In the center of the room, a man was tied to a chair, wrists and ankles bound tight with thick ropes that cut into his skin, leaving raw, angry welts.
