From then on, Jack and I had a wonderful mutual understanding. With a greater bond than ever before, we went about our daily routines as usual. I was also able to explain to him what was going on with his father's side of the family and why I was there to help them in the first place. I called it understanding, but it was more like coaxing him into it. Jack stated that he had no objections to anything that I did so long as I did not meet Benjie or Jay or any other guy by myself.
