TEA BAG [poetry]

Go

You could've hurt me in ways I thought you wouldn't

You could've hurt me with the same mistake you always make

But while the storm lasts I will dance in the rain

I could end up loosing you, but I'll heal either way

I danced, I danced, for a really long time

And it took me so long to realize, how much self-love I deserve to have

But there ain't no 'unfortunate' part of me, just 'getting to set me free' kind of me

It felt impossible- to be myself

It felt like the tiniest outbreak would be the end

And I held it in, until the next morning waiting for the feelings to leave

So the best feeling I've ever had in a while, is realizing I don't give a shit

Not anymore

Not for you, and definitely not for us

And I say this with genuine love, instead of having me on a threat

If you want to go, go

I don't care anymore
