Hidden behind the mask

A very big mistake

A very high tech and well defined big hall. All around the hall were tables and computers where people were working seperately. There were also bookshelves all around, with book on numerous subjects and files about various topics. In short, it looked like a very developed police station.

A woman was standing in the middle of the hall. She had cherry blonde hair, green eyes and a slim toned yet muscular body. Her expression was however seemed to be completely in contrast with her sweet princess like look. She looked very angry.

A boy entered the room. As he did, the air suddenly seemed to have lessened by his extraordinarily handsome appearance. With dark black hair falling into his eyes, ocean blue eyes, a muscular yet thin body and well defined facial structures he looked like a Greek God. He was wearing a rather apologetic expression on his face.

"Any news of White?", asked the lady.

"No", said the boy, "We're trying to track him down but the signals are not reaching to us".

" I swear, this boy",said she, angrily," I told him not to do anything alone and inform me. If he does anything out of the lines, it's going to take so much time just to fix that".

"The signals are coming, Agent Mia", said a girl, rushing inside the room. She was tall , not very beautiful, but still above average, and had brown hair, blue eyes and a rather childish aura.

"Thanks, Agent Cat", said Agent Mia.

All the three people rushed inside one of the doors. It was a long corridor, made up of Mable and sandstone.The walls were adorned by maps of different places and photos of some people. At the end of the corridor, there was a sliding door which the boy opened and they rushed in.

A beautiful girl, in her late teens was waiting for them. She had lovely blue green eyes, blonde hair and a very strict aura around her. They all looked at a very big screen which was on the wall, and displayed a rather large map with a tiny red dot.

"Bernwood forest, what is he doing there?", said the boy.

"That's probably the reason he's not picking up the calls and signals are unreachable", said the girl with blue green eyes.

" He's calling me right now", announced the boy. He had a very strange looking device in his hand which looked like a cellphone with two antennas. One of them was blinking rapidly. The boy pressed a button on the device.

" Black, can you hear me", said the voice on the other side.

" I can", said Black, the boy.

" I actually went somewhere in the night, when we accidentally tracked them. I will tell you all about it when I reach there. But I am bringing someone who we can use for interrogation. But there's a major problem", said White.

" What? ", asked Black.

" I lost my mask.... don't worry, don't worry, I was not seen and I have tied a cloth around my face but someone might still recognise me.Can you send a robowl with my face mask to my location? ", asked White.

" Where are you? ", asked Black, pretending.

" On the location screen", said White, sarcastically.

" How do you know? ", asked Agent Mia, a little shocked.

" Come on senior, how many times have we have tracked people together? It would be foolish to assume that you would not try to track me", said Agent White.

" Well, I am not impressed with you. What you did was extremely risky and careless. You are supposed to go by all the rules so as to set a model for the new recruits and you're doing this", said Agent Mia.

" I know it was foolish of me", said Agent White.

"Well, did you get what you were looking for ?", asked the girl with blue green eyes.

"No, Agent Green. I hardly managed to escape. For all I know, it might have been a trap. Hurry up, Black.I am close to the main city",said White.

" Right now", said Agent Black, and he pressed another button on the queer looking device, and the light on the antenna disappeared.

Fifteen minutes later....

A very exhausted and worn out boy had entered the room. From his appearance, he was in his late teens.He had a thin body, with black hair and brown hair, and a professional demeanor around him. He was carrying a man on his shoulders who looked like a bodyguard. The man's head was wrapped with a black piece of cloth and was soaked in blood.

"Is he the one?", asked Agent Green.

"He is", replied Agent White.

"He's been hit with something very hard on his head", observed Agent Black.

"He doesn't look in the condition of being interrogated at the moment", said Agent Mia, "And Blue is not available at the moment. The best thing will be to take him to the medical wing and wait till Blue is free".

"I will help you", said Agent Green, as she picked up the boy, and both ladies walked away from sight.

"Follow me", said Agent Black and Agent White followed to an empty storeroom at one end of the hall.

"You're hiding something, aren't you?", asked Agent Black.

"No, I am not. What makes you think that?", asked Agent White.

"The blow on the head of the man is very severe, and it might be fatal. You know how much force needs to be applied to knock a person unconscious. It is obvious that the person who hit him didn't care about how hard the blow was, and just used all their force", said Black.

" You're genius, Black", admitted Agent White.

" You have to tell me the truth ", said Agent Black.

" I don't have an option, do I? ", said Agent White.

" You don't ",said Agent Black, firmly.

" When I was running away , a lot of people were following me and I manage to dodge most of them but there were two idiots were just not leaving...so I had to enter a house, it looked deserted when I first saw it. There were no lights inside the house, so I became sure that nobody lived there. I hid under a bed there. One of the two went away, thinking that I am not there. The other one was sure that I was inside the house and kept searching. While I was hiding, another girl around our age, came towards the bed. I pulled her inside so that the man would not see her. The man was just going to leave, when the girl's phone started ringing. So , I had to go out and surrender. He was just about to shoot me when the girl knocked him out with a large flowervase. She saw my real ace as well, and that's why I did not tell all of you about her. You know, Agent Mia, she would get hyper if he found out about it".

" The girl does not know about you being an Agent, does she? ", asked Agent Black.

" No, she does not", said White.

" It's ok, then but we will still have to make sure about her. But first an important question .....what happened to the other man who had followed you? ", asked Agent Black.

" The other man? Why are you asking about him? ", asked Agent White.

" Oh no", said Agent Black, as his expression turned very serious.

" What happened? What has the other man, got to do with it?", asked White.

" He must have seen you from the backside and he knows the house as well. What makes you think that he's not going to report all that to his boss? ",said Agent Black.

" Oh s**t! How did I not see that coming? ", said Agent White, also turning serious.

" We cannot do anything about it now, but we have to make sure the girl leaves that house and settles somewhere else", said Agent Black.

" I will take care of that, you don't worry.. and about seeing my backside, it is still going to be hard to recognise me, but I will stay on a high profile for the time being", said Agent White.

" Good ", said Agent Black," Now let's go out before Agent Mia starts tracking us".

" Right ", said White, and they both went out of the storeroom.
