I was vibrating. It wasn't the adrenaline of the racetrack or the caffeine from the steakhouse; it was a pure, concentrated heat that started in my chest and settled in my knuckles. I had spent the last two hours being a prop — Tiffany’s arm candy, a trophy for her to flaunt — but watching this guy Mark invade Mallory’s space was the breaking point.
