To scared to love

A mate..?

     I couldn’t think of another word to describe my situation at the moment. Now I need to disappear from here as soon as I can, otherwise all the other wolf has to do is follow my track and he’ll easily find me. I don’t know if I ever told, but my brother Matthew might be my only path to go now. He’s already 19 and lives with his mate Cristina at a house near the city center. I was born only 1 year after him, and my 18th birthday is next week.He always knew what my parents did so he always told me I could go there anytime to get a little break, and I think that will do for now.

     Matthew has an important role in the pack, since he’s the next beta, and is always hanging out with Luke, the alpha’s son. I finished packing as fast as I could so then I could sneak out without anyone noticing, I don’t even wanna know what would happen to me if they found me.

     I get the small bag I packed and jumped my room’s window and go to the stable to at least tell Power I’ll be gone for sometime. After making sure he could take care of him self I shift form and some seconds later I’m in full wolf form. I shake off my uncommon black fur and keep the bag with my teeth. It was a month ago since I last shifted, so it hurts more, but nothing I can’t bear. My parents thought it would better not let me shift this month and don’t even ask me why because I’d like to know the answer too. One thing I most liked about Ember was that we had a rare fur. Totally black matching the colors of our blue greenish eyes, which was rare even between males, even more for an omega, like me. This fur took me in advantage because it was harder to ser me in the forest, the shadow of tue trees covered me.

     Before getting to close to the center, I shift back and put some clothes on, to avoid any risks of being seen by a human, that would be a disaster. After I got ready, I go to the nearest bus station I can see and wait until I got to brother’s house.

*Luke*

     I had a lot of paperwork to do. Each day I became closer and closer from becoming the Alpha and all this was getting me in a pile of nerves. Besides all this, I couldn’t take of my had that girl I saw riding in the morning. Her scent was different from everything I had ever smelled and Hazel, my wolf, was dying to discover what was it. Could it possibly be a mate? Hazel jumps in happiness just because of  the thought of finally finding our mate. Most wolves find their soulmates after completing 16 years, yet I was 19 and still hadn’t found mine. Some wolves never find theirs, but I prefer to have faith that one day I’ll find her.

     —Bro, you alive? -Matthew asks me taking me out of my thoughts 

     —huh? Sorry I wasn’t paying attention

     —Yeah I could see, your mind seems to be in another planet since the run this morning. Something happened? - he asks me.

     Matthew and I had been friends since middle school and I knew right away I wanted him to be my beta. I never really met his family, he was always saying that his parents didn’t like visits that one day I gave up. 

     —Yeah uhmm.. I think I might’ve found my mate.

     —Are you serious? Congrats bro. Who is she?

     —That’s the problem.. I don’t know for sure.

     —Tell me what she looked like, maybe I can help

     —Well when I saw her she was rid- 

     I was just about to tell him when my father calls me through mind link. After telling him I was going to hus office, I tell Matth I have to go and that later I’d tell him more.

     —You can go to my place this evening, I wouldn’t mind - he says. I just nod back and continue my way to the alphas office.
