Oh God! What was revealed was far more terrible than I could possibly have imagined!
What first really struck me was my complete lack of hair ... then my eyes were drawn to the shiny metal U shackle embedded in my nose! I was utterly horrified to see the heavy, thick stainless steel that emerged from my nostrils, resting on my upper lip and knew instinctually that it would be cruelly used. I could not discern how it was fastened into my flesh, but truly, I didn’t need to ... it was a solid and inescapable presence.
