I woke up early, still feeling the weight of the previous night. The sun had barely risen, and I was already up, ready for another hectic day. Milena was still wrapped up in the blankets, so I went to her room and gave her a gentle shake.
“Let's go, Mi. Time to get up,” I said, trying to sound cheerful.
She stretched as she slowly opened her eyes.
“I'm coming, Lari,” she replied with a grumpy tone.
While she got ready, I made a quick coffee. After a while, we left together, heading to the course. The fresh morning air helped clear my mind, and having Milena by my side gave me a bit of peace. The usual driver was already waiting for us outside the house. We got in the car, and he started driving.
