The Clayton mansion buzzed with life, the celebration of Xander's 20th birthday filling the air with excitement. The backyard, adorned with enchanting decorations, set the stage for a night to remember. As guests streamed in, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton graciously welcomed them, while Xan and Max readied themselves in their rooms. "Isabella, where's Xan? His friends are waiting," Mr. Clayton inquired. "He's in his room. I asked the butler to call him," Isabella replied. "And what about Max?" "Sam, he's not in the right mind after his meeting. I asked him to stay in his room. Waiting for Ira; only she can handle him," Isabella sighed. Sam chuckled. "I'm jealous." "Jealous? Of what?" Isabella asked nervously. "You look so young and gorgeous. You don't seem like a mom of two sons." "Umm... I know I'm beautiful," Isabella shrugged and laughed. "Don't worry, my dearest husband. You're still handsome and young. I was just kidding." Lost in each other's eyes, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton shared a moment when Ira arrived. "(Cough) If you're done with your romance, tell me where your sons are," Ira said, smiling. "We're not done. Go ask someone else," Sam teased, his hands around Isabella's waist. "Everyone's watching," Isabella pushed him away, blushing. Ira laughed…then Isabella looked towards Ira and saw how beautiful she was looking. "Iraaaaa….u look ravishing!!!" Isabella said. "Not more than u mom…." Ira said. Isabella laughed. "Ira dear….I need your help…" Isabella said. "Yes sure…what happened…" Ira asked nervously. "Ummm…she's again going to send u to the lion's den my girl….." Sam said teasingly. Ira laughed and understood, "Ooo…is Max again in a bad mood??" Isabella nodded. "No worries I'll manage….you enjoy the party. I'll be back in a few minutes!!!" Ira said winking and left towards Max's room. (Inside the mansion) Joah's phone rang, and he received Xander's instructions, ensuring no mistakes. "Hey buddy, where are you?" Joah asked. "In my room. Listen," Xander conveyed details to him. "Okay, I'll do it," Joah said, a mischievous laugh escaping him. Joah instructed Zoe to drop gifts in the 4th room upstairs, claiming he had other tasks. Zoe hesitated, questioning why she couldn't do it herself. "Can't you help? Please..." Joah insisted. "Okay, going..." Zoe conceded. 'I've done my part…..best of luck buddy!!!' Joah texted Xander and smiled. "Anya…I'm going inside the mansion….you too please come…." Zoe said to Anya on call. "But why…."Anya asked. "That fool Joah ... .something is suspicious…u too come I'm going upstairs 4th room…" "Okay…I'm coming, wait for me…" "I can't wait ... .u just come and text me…."Zoe said, ending the call. Anya was a bit nervous as this was the first time she came to a mansion…Secondly she's not a party kind of person. She didn't know the way but still she went Inside the mansion…. Anya was just roaming here and there….she called Zoe but her phone was out of reach. Calling her name she went upstairs…. Suddenly she saw Joah and asked him, the fourth room was in the left or right one in which he sent Zoe….. Joah told her wrong directions just to waste her time and by listening to Joah, Anya entered a room. She knocked thrice but no one answered so she went inside. It was a dark, cold room….. "Zoe…. You here???" Anya said. Suddenly she heard some sound from the washroom….she went towards that and was about to knock when someone came out….. "What the hell!!!!" Max shouted. "Who the f*ck you are and what you're doing in my bedroom???" Max continued. "Actually….." Anya was scared and embarrassed as Max was in his bathrobe only….. Max started walking towards Anya and Anya started taking steps backwards… Max was burning with anger as he was already in a bad mood today. On the other hand, Anya was scared and embarrassed to hell….. Anya was going backwards without seeing and suddenly she lost her balance and fell backwards. But before falling, she felt a strong grip around her waist which saved her……. Zoe, meanwhile, cursed Joah as she entered the room, unaware of Max's presence. "Crazy bastard Joah. It's not his mistake; he's Xander's friend, that's the mistake. What does he think of himself? Am I a servant?" Zoe ranted, only to be interrupted by Xander's deep voice. "Ummm... That crazy, i***t, asshole isn't that bad, Miss!" Xander said. Shocked, Zoe recognized him, her heartbeat momentarily stopping. 'Huh... What the hell, Zoe! Fool you are...' she thought, turning to face Xander. "Happy Birthday, Xander. Ignore whatever you heard," she said, attempting to leave. "What if I don't ignore?" Xander asked. "Huh? Then that's your business!" Zoe retorted. Xander laughed, saying, "Okay, listen," as he approached Zoe. Unsettled, Zoe took steps backward until she hit a wall. Xander, smiling, positioned himself close to her. Xander's Point of View: Xander couldn't help but notice the uncertainty in Zoe's eyes. You've made me crazy, Zoe," Xander whispered. Zoe, looking into his eyes, asked, "What?" "I don't even know what's happened to me. How can I love a girl who never even said a single word politely to me?" Xander confessed. The tension between them lingered, a captivating moment that left Zoe questioning her emotions in the midst of unexpected romance. Zoe's Point of View: Zoe's heart raced as Xander approached.
