" Miss Fernandez! "
I woke up from my thoughts when our teacher called me.
" Miss Fernandez, stand up and answer this equation! "
Equation? What Equation?
I slowly turn my head to the board.
F=(3x+5-6y)(9y-25+24x)
Fuck! Di ko alam yung sagot dyan.
I slowly stood up to walk towards the board.
" Psst, Alesia. "
I turned my head towards Wiszher and my expression is telling 'What?'. May pinakita sya sakin, and I know that it is the answer. When my eyes met his, he smirked and I just rolled my eyes.
I continued walking to the board and decided to trust Wiszher's answer. After answering, I turned my back and silently mouthed my thanks to him.
After class I hurriedly organized my things and went out of the room to go home early, since I still have to work.
When I reached the gate to find a taxi, I saw my bestfriend, Dwayne, leaning against his car.
I walked towards him. When his eyes met mine, he removed his aviator and he smiled at me.
I smiled back as I walk closer to him. When I'm infront of him, he bent down to kiss my cheek. I blushed upon realizing what he did.
I was shock because he was never this sweet before. He opened his car door for me to get in. When I got in, umikot sya upang pumasok na rin.
While we were on our way, he was humming a certain song. Because this was strange I decided to ask him.
" What's with you, Dwayne? " I asked. He glanced at me before he fixated his eyes on the road
" Nothing babe. Why? " He smiled.
" You're strange and it's creeping me out. "
" Am I? "
He glanced at me again and smirked. I just rolled my eyes and decided to ignore him.
Dwayne was my long time crush. I admired him ever since I'm in my freshman year. I know that I don't have a chance to him since he just see me as a sister.
I have been rejected by him when our friends had a night out. Well, technically, he didn't reject me personally. It happened when we were playing spin the bottle.
" Calista, truth or dare? " Jane asked. We were having fun at Lilo's condo. He decided to celebrate for getting his condo as a gift from his dad. He invited us over and decided to play while drinking.
Unfortunately, the bottle stopped infront of Calista. " Dare! " She bravely said.
I saw Jane smirking devilishly. Umiling lamang ako dahil maling desisyon ang ginawa ni Cali. Grabe pa naman gumawa ng kalokohan si Jane.
" I dare you to...French kiss Dylan!! " My friends shout because of that dare. We all know that Dylan and Calista are devoted to their partners and having them do this will bring a lot of trouble not only to them but also to us.
I bowed and shook my head at their craziness. When my eyes went up, I met Dwayne's eyes. Dwayne is handsome, I admit. He have those expressive brown eyes that he got from his dad. Thick eyelashes, perfect nose, perfect jawline and those kissable lips.
While I was staring at his face, his lips formed a smile. I averted my eyes from him so he won't see me blush.
When Calista's dare was over, the game continued. When she spun the bottle, its mouth pointed at Dwayne's. They asked him, "truth or dare" and he answered truth.
" Do you have secret feelings for Alesia? " When Mika ask the question, my jaw dropped and our friends started yelling, laughing and coughing like some crazy.
Dwayne laughed with them before answering the question. " Alesia is like a sister to me. Besides, you know that I have a girlfriend. Right, Alesia? " Then he looked at me.
After hearing his answer our friends looked at me to see my reaction. I nooded at him and smiled. I am hurt, yes, but I made sure that no one can see it.
I woke up from reminiscing when the car stopped. I looked through the window to see where we are and saw that the car was parked in the parking lot of an Italian restaurant.
When Dwayne went off of his car, I went out too and didn't wait for him to open the door for me. He looked at me and shook his head. I just shrugged. We went inside the restaurant.
