Chapter EighteenThe Hilton Hotel in Mountain View featured a post-modern lobby with smatterings of bright color on walls, and wall-to-wall carpet that encircled white columns. The conference room Scott Winslow reserved was big enough for ten, because although there were a number of great seating areas in the hotel, none of the others available were sufficiently private. Scott and Sarah met Margo Traynor in the lobby of the hotel at 1:00 p.m. They smiled and she walked toward them. She was an attractive woman in her early thirties, who wore blue jeans, a tan blouse, and a look of concern. Scott extended a smile and a hand, which she shook. “Good afternoon, Ms. Traynor.
