Rebuilding Braedon

Dmitri went over to the otherside of the girl and bit into her neck while standing in front of her while Avira was behind her. As soon as they were full they let the girl go and Dmitri snapped her neck and looked at Avira. He went over to her and kissed her as they both had the girl’s blood going down their chins. Avira wrapped her arms around Dmitri’s neck and kissed him again. He ran his tongue across her bottom lip asking for entrance and when she denied he reached down and squeezed her ass. She gasped at the sudden move and Dmitri took that as his opportunity to slide his tongue into her mouth. 

They were fighting for dominance and even though Avira put up a hell of a fight, she conceded and let Dmitri win. While they were kissing Dmitri slid his hands down to the lower curve of her ass and lifted her up. As if on instinct Avira wrapped her legs around Dmitri’s waist. He went over to the couch that she had laid on just before he brought the girl to feed on. He sat down so she was straddling him and he went to deepen the kiss but before they could go too far a knock sounded on the door which earned a hissing growl from Dmitri.

Another knock sounded at the door

Pardon the intrusion but we have a situation out here.

That piqued Avira’s curiosity.

What kind of situation?

There are werewolves looking for you Avira.

ARGH kicked them out.

With that the vampire left and Dmitri went to sit at his desk. He could sense that Avira was curious as to why werewolves were after her. 

My love, you are not going out there. 

Dmitri you know that you can’t command me.

Ignoring Dmitri's protests, Avira opened the office door and went into the front of the nightclub. Dmitri hot on her tail following her. As soon as the werewolves saw her, they headed straight for her. Dmitri pushed her behind him in order to protect her. The werewolves growled at Dmitri when he did that.

Who are you?

My name is Lycaon and I have been searching for Avira for a long time..

What...why were you looking for me?

I promised your father that if anything should happen to him that I would look after you. For nineteen years I’ve been searching for you. When your scent reappeared in Braedon, I followed it to Tregaron and spoke with Treznor and he told me that you were with Dmitri. So it wasn’t hard to figure out where to go from there.

Why would her father ask you a werewolf to look after her?

The reason Lorcan asked me to look after her is because he was my brother. I am her uncle.

uh...huh.......Come again?

Lycaon is your uncle. 

Your father was a werewolf but after your mother died he chose not to turn into a wolf because he had you to take care of. One night while you were asleep, he called me and asked me to come and see him. I was so taken aback when he wanted to see me as well as speak to me. When I got there, he asked me “Brother if anything should happen to me, promise me that you would look after your niece and protect her. She is going to have an extremely difficult path especially with a vampire wanting her.” I agreed because I knew that he wouldn’t leave me alone if I didn’t agree. When I heard that you were attacked by werewolves and got hurt, you were probably wondering why your body conformed both werewolf and vampire venom into one cohesive venom. A venom that is stronger than either species.

Wait a minute so you are saying that Avira is stronger than either species.

That is correct.

What would happen to someone that she bit?

If it is a human they would turn into a hybrid loyal to her. If she bit a vampire two things could happen. One she could turn him/her into a hybrid or two she could kill him/her with her venom.

What do you want from me, Lycaon?

I want you to come with me so that I can protect you.

You will not be taking her.

Why not?

You shalln’t because she is mine...my love.

Just how is she your love?

I claimed her as my love from the very first moment I saw her.

Avira belongs with her family, not with a bloodsucker like you.

You think you're any better werewolf?

I know that I’m better then you bloodsucker cause I’m her family.

Yeah a family that didn’t give a s**t about her till now.

What did you just say?

You heard me dog.

Lycaon and his men tensed up at the sound of being called a dog. Lycaon’s eyes turned golden which indicated that his wolf was coming out. Avira got fed up with all of the drama and bullshit.

EEE f*****g NOUGH!

Just after Avira yelled that everyone stopped and the music stopped. Everyone was looking at her and all the vampires and werewolves backed away from her because of the murderous aura she is sending out to everyone. Dmitri bowed his head and took a step back whereas Lycaon took a step towards her.

Avira, you need to calm down.

All of the sudden her eyes turned golden with red interlaced with the gold and he knew that she was losing control. As he approached her, her arm shot up and wrapped around his neck and lifted him up so he wasn’t touching the ground and his men moved to intercept but he stopped them cause he doesn’t want any casualties on his hands.

Avira don’t let the hybrid in you take over. 

She looked at him and he could see that it wasn’t the hybrid but Avira doing this. She looked around and she could see that everyone was scared including Dmitri. She threw Lycaon across the room and he landed on the stage. As soon as they all looked back to where Avira was standing, they saw that she was gone. Dmitri ran outside to search for her but didn’t find any sign of her. He went back inside and walked over to Lycaon and punched him in the jaw.

Look what you did you asshole, now because of you my love has run off and is out of control. Now she doesn’t only have to worry about bloodlust but all of the new powers that come with being a hybrid. Thanks to you I can’t be there to help her through this and I doubt we’ll find her this time. So whoever she kills, their blood is on your hands. 

You really love her don’t you Dmitri?

I would give my own life or soul if it meant protecting her.

I can see that. Do you think you can find her?

I don’t know, maybe.

Dmitri if you find her I promise I will back out of the way and let you guys be together.

Look it is a matter of if we can find her. The last time she disappeared, she was gone for a month before she got in contact with me. 

Please find her. She is all the family I have left.

Look, Lycaon she is the only one for me and I will do everything in my power to find her but that is ultimately up to her. You trying to rip her away from me doesn’t help you in any way because she accepted me as her love. Now I will find her but I will do it because I can’t lose her. 

Lycaon and his men left Sessiz Karanlik and Dmitri sent out his men to find Avira yet again. He was hoping that she would contact him and come back to him. While everyone was running around like a chicken with its head cut off, Avira was on her way to Braedon. When she got there, she started with her plan of making the town a supernatural friendly town that welcomes all vampires, witches, and hybrids. Avira wants it to be a place where vampires, witches, and hybrids who are scrutinized, prosecuted and condemned can go to get away from the horrible lives that they have been living. Avira wants freedom for all without scrutiny.
