Seeking Avira

As soon as Dmitri got into Tregaron, he was swarmed by werewolves. Now they didn’t attack but they escorted him to see Treznor. As soon as Treznor saw Dmitri he figured that there must be something seriously wrong. He went over to him and sent the other werewolves away.

Not that I’m not happy to see you but I take it that you don’t have anything good to tell me.

Unfortunately I came with bad news.

What is it?

Avira has been missing for over a month.

What?

There’s more.

More then Avira missing for over a month?

Yes.

Oh god I’m terrified to ask.

She is fully in her wolf form.

Oh god wait a minute what color were her eyes?

They were black with a red slit iris.

That means that her wolf is in control.

So what does that mean?

It means that if a human finds her they will be in grave danger and if one of our kind finds her then they will need to proceed with caution when they encounter her.

Treznor I was hoping that maybe...

You were hoping my pack and I would find her.

I would feel a lot better if a pack of werewolves were tracking her down.

Understand that I’m doing this for her and not you. Technically our species are still mortal enemies. 

I understand that. As long as Avira is back safe and sound that is all that I care about. 

Very well then. When we find her and get back to Tregaren I will give you a call and let you know how she is.

I want to be there for her.

Dmitri understands that with the state that Avira is in right now she will view everyone as a threat. The pack and I are going to have to proceed with caution because she will be likely to attack us. She could kill us if she felt threatened or cornered.

I feel like I should be there when you find her because I need her to know that she isn’t alone and that she will never be alone. I want her to know that I will always stay by her side. 

Dmitri you need to understand that may not be possible.

What do you mean Treznor? 

In the state that Avira is in she could end up killing anyone. I just hope to god that we find her before that happens.

Treznor promised me that you will do whatever necessary to find and protect my love. I can't lose her especially after just finally truly getting her back.

Dmitri, I promise I will help her. She is like a daughter to me. I owe her father a lot so of course I'm going to make sure that she is okay.

After Dmitri said that Reznor came into the office and looked at his brother. Treznor looked back at Reznor.

Get the trackers and hunters rounded up.

Why?

Avira is missing and she is in a very futile state.

As soon as Treznor said that, Renznor's eyes widened and he took off to gather the trackers and hunters. By the time Treznor and Dmitri came out of the house Reznor had everyone in front of the house. 

Thank you all for being here. I want you all to know that the person who we are going to be tracking is not just any supernatural being. We are tracking Avira. She is stronger, faster, smarter, and above all else deadlier than us because she isn't just a hybrid of two distinct species. She is a grand hybrid of all three species.

As soon as Treznor said that, a lot of the trackers and hunters became very anxious about trying to find her. Treznor saw this and continued

I understand that because she is a hybrid of all three species that some of you are a bit anxious about finding her. I'm not going to lie to you, it will be dangerous. She is in a futile state right now and she could slip off the crossroads. Avira is part werewolf and do we turn our back on our own in their time of need?

NO everyone shouted and then all that Dmitri could hear was the breaking, cracking, and snapping of bones. Before Treznor shifted he looked to Dmitri.

We will find her and bring her home.

Treznor then shifted and led the pack to find Avira. Dmitri went to Braedon and went to her house and waited for the call saying that Avira was found. He didn’t sleep a wink ever since she went missing. The pack was in the middle of the woods and they were getting closer to finding her. Treznor and Reznor split the tracking party in half. Reznor took five wolves from east to west in the woods and Treznor took the other five north to south. Avira caught their scent and she headed from the cave where she was hiding and she headed directly into the path of both search parties.

Reznor and Treznor both caught Avira’s scent and they chased after her. They cornered her and when they did, they saw that her eyes were more animalistic than anything. Treznor needed to find a way to get through to her. As he tried to approach her, she snarled at him. He immediately backed off and turned back into his human self. Reznor turned back into his human self and went to speak with Treznor.

Treznor, what are we going to do because she isn’t going to allow anyone near her. I think we need to try getting through to her by approaching her in human form. 

Reznor I think we need to (as crazy as it is) bring Dmitri down here.

Do you have any idea how crazy that sounds?

Yes I do realize how crazy that sounds but I think that he can break through to her.

What do you want me to do?

I want you to go get him.

Do you think that he is still in Tregaren or do you think he went back to the city?

I think that he went back to Braedon. I don’t think Dmitri would go back to the city without her.

I will go to Braedon and see if he is there.

Reznor turned back into his black wolf and he took off running in the direction of Braedon. He took a day and a half to get to Braedon. When he did, he went to Avira’s house and knocked on the door. Dmitri opened the door and as soon as he saw Reznor, he understood that something must have happened. 

Reznor what has happened?

I need you to come with me.

Why?

We found Avira...

You found her?

Yes, we found Avira but we need you to come and see if you can get through to her.

What do you mean?

She is in a very futile state where she is more animal than human. She won’t let any of us get close to her. Treznor is hoping that maybe, just maybe she will allow you to get near her. Please come with me.

Of course I will come with you. It's Avira, I will always be there to help her.

Ok let's go.

Both Reznor and Dmitri went outside the house and Reznor shifted into his wolf and took off running and Dmitri used his vampire speed to follow him. As soon as they got to where Treznor and the pack was, Dmitri saw that Avira was held in a cave that she found in the cliff face. As soon as Treznor saw him, he went over to him and talked to him.

Dmitri, we need your help. She won’t allow any of us near her or near her space. I have known Avira since she was little and I have never seen her like that. It is like her wolf has completely taken over and drowned out her vampire and witch self. 

What do you mean?

She has never been like this because she is always in control so whatever happened to make her go off the rails must have been serious.

The leader of the evil witch regime that wants her dead because she is an “Abomination” being a hybrid of the three species. 

Do you know her name?

The witch leader’s name is Maev Grimsbane. 

Oh God, that person isn’t a good person. She came here and tried to get me to turn against her. I told her to get the hell out of my town and stay the hell away from Avira because I would sic my entire pack after her.

She killed Maev Grimsbane. She broke into her house and she was going to kill Avira but Avira figured it out first and she fully shifted into her wolf and she tore out Maev's throat then she took off. I have never once been afraid of anyone or anything but that night I was terrified of what was going to happen to Avira.

Do you think that you could get through to her?

I don’t know but if I can I will try.

You need to understand that she is in a very protective/futile state of mind.

I know and I will be careful.

Dmitri headed to the cave and he tried to approach the cave. As soon as he got anywhere near the cave, Avira would start to snarl. He stopped just a few feet from the cave and when Avira saw him, she tilted her head and she looked at him. Avira went over to him slowly and cautiously, thinking that he was going to hurt her. Once she saw that he wasn’t going to hurt her, she started to shift back to her human form. He took off his outer coat and wrapped it around her, covering her body. 

As soon as she shifted back, she passed out due to the pain that she experienced while shifting back to her human form. The reason she felt so much pain shifting back is because she was in her wolf self more than she needed. After she passed out, Dmitri caught her before she fell to the ground and he picked her up and put her in a princess carry and headed back to Braedon. 

While on the way back to Braedon, Reznor kept looking at Avira and he couldn’t believe the strength that she held. He definitely doesn’t want that to happen again and he was going to make sure that would never happen again. As soon as they got to Braedon, Dmitri got to the house and took her upstairs and when he sat her down he found that she was awake. As soon as she saw that she was home and in her home, she breathed a sigh of relief. She opened the coat and saw that she wasn’t wearing anything and her cheeks turned a slight shade of red.  

Dmitri saw this and he smiled at the fact. He laid down beside her and he wrapped his arms around her and brought her underneath him. He opened the coat and he got the view that he wanted. He slid his hands down her body and up to her sweet, luscious, and soft breast and he started to massage them. Before he could do what he truly wanted to do she got out of the bed and as she was walking she dropped the coat. As she was walking to the bathroom she was swaying her ass in front of Dmitri and she turned around and gave him a full frontal shot of her. 

Avira, you are one sexy ass hybrid.

Dmitri jumped off of the bed and ran over to the bathroom door and before he got there she closed the door. He put  his hand on the door and he let out a deep sigh.

You...Avira is such a tease.

He left the room going downstairs to the living room to speak to Treznor. On the other side of the door Avira heard him walk away and she opened the door to see if he was really gone. When she saw that he was gone, she decided that she was going to take herself a shower. While downstairs Dmitri was speaking to Treznor.

 How is she doing?

She is doing better, she is taking a shower.

Dmitri I want you to know that you can call us anytime something is the matter with Avira.

Treznor we should be going now.

Dmitri showed them out and went back upstairs and when he went into the room he saw that the door to the bathroom was open and he saw that Avira was in the shower and she intentionally left the sliding door to the shower open. At the sight of Avira wet and how the water cascaded down her body like it was wrapping her in a blanket, his d**k began to grow hard and his breathing hitched. He couldn’t believe how this one woman can make his undead heart beat as if it was still a living one. 

He went into the bathroom and he reached into the shower and he saw that Avira saw him and she allowed him to touch her soft silky skin. He leaned into the shower, ignoring the water and kissed Avira like there was no tomorrow. He snaked one of his hands between her thighs and he felt how wet she was and that made him want her all the more. Avira then pushed him out of the shower and shut the door and as he was about to open the door to the shower, he heard someone calling for him.

Dmitri!!

Dmitri looked to the door and he began to rant.

GODDAMNIT, SON OF A b***h, MUTHERFUCKER, COCKSUCKER, WHAT DOES A GUY HAVE TO DO TO NOT BE f*****g DISTURBED WHILE HE IS WITH HIS WOMAN. IS IT THAT f*****g HARD TO LEAVE TWO PEOPLE THE f**k ALONE. FOR CHRIST SAKE GODDAMN WHATEVER IT IS BETTER BE LIFE AND DEATH OR SO HELP ME THERE WILL BE BLOODSHED.

As Dmitri stormed out of the bathroom, Avira was in the shower holding back her laughter until she was sure that he was gone. She busted out laughing but continued her shower. Downstairs as soon as Dmitri opened the door, he turned pale as if he had seen a ghost. He completely froze because he didn't know how to react. He then heard the water turn off and he knew that Avira was out of the shower. 

Are you going to invite me in?

The voice broke Dmitri out of his thoughts and he looked at the person on the other side of the door. Upstairs Avira wrapped herself in a plush blood red towel and went into her bedroom. As she was getting dressed, all of the sudden she felt a threatening presence. She didn’t know where it was coming from but she didn’t like it. Back downstairs Dmitri was still frozen like a statue until he thought about how Avira would react.

Cekrah what are you doing here?

I missed you Dmitri and I want you back.

Cekrah you can’t be here, my love is upstairs.   

   The second the Dmitri said “my love” Cekrah hissed because she didn’t want to compete with someone for Dmitri. 

What floozy do you have upstairs?

One, watch your mouth. I won't have you disrespecting her, secondly, she is more powerful than you and me combined, last but not least she is the one I will forever love.

Huh you said that about me at one time. I think I can get her to back off with just a little bit of persuasion.

Cekrah walked up to him and she kissed him. Upstairs Avira suddenly smelt another female in her domain. She let out a loud and angry howl. She stormed out of her room and instead of walking down the staircase, she jumped over the banister and landed on her feet. The second she landed she scanned the room and when she saw that Dmitri was kissing another woman she let out a threatening growl. Both Dmitri and the woman turned to where the growl came from. 

As soon as Dmitri saw her, he backed away from Cekrah. Cekrah was just looking smugly at Avira and thinking to herself “This is who Dmitri left me for. She is nothing compared to me and I could easily kill her if I wanted. She is just a little girl who doesn’t know what or who she is dealing with” Dmitri looked over at Avira and he saw her eyes slowly turn from Circassian blue to golden red. He knew that Avira was getting pissed off. 

Avira my love I would like to introduce Cekrah “Morgan” Morgenstern. Cekrah this is Avira Darkmoore.

It’s a pleasure to meet you Ms., Darkmoore.

Avira nodded and she narrowed her eyes at Cekrah. The look she was giving Cekrah basically said “If you try anything, I will end your life without even thinking twice.” Cekrah saw that and she got a chill down her spine. She then realized that Avira wasn’t just one of the species but she was a hybrid and she knew that she was going to be a lot more difficult to persuade to leave Dmitri. Dmitri got called to go to the Sessiz Karanlik, and he looked at Avira and she understood that it was an emergency. He fled out the door, shutting it and leaving both Cekrah and Avira alone.

Look Ms. Darkmoore I come in peace.

Huh peace if you came in peace you wouldn’t have had your vampire tongue down Dmitri’s throat.

You don’t deserve him. He deserves to be with someone who is strong and capable of ruling by his side, not some weak little hybrid. 

You watch your mouth or so help me.

Avira’s eyes were slowly turning to black with a red iris. She excused herself from the room and called Treznor. 

Ring...ring..

Avira what is going on?

Treznor I need you and your pack here now.

Why? What’s going on?

I’m about to lose control and kill this smug b***h I have in my house. 

Okay we’re on our way just trying to stay in control.

After they hung up Avira went back into the room because she still doesn’t trust Cekrah even though every part of her being is telling her to kill her. Cekrah sees that Avira is shaking and she takes advantage of it.

Ms. Darkmoore, you will leave Dmitri or I will kill everyone that you love.

Avira is trying to hold herself in control. In Tregaron, Treznor got Reznor and a lot of hunters and trackers gathered up and into the cars. Reznor was riding with Treznor and he was hauling ass to get to Braedon.

Treznor what is going on?

Avira needs us right now. 

Why what is going on?

She called me and she is on the verge of losing total control.

Again?

No she wouldn’t be the Avira we know and care for she would be a full animal.

Oh s**t what is going on to make her almost lose total control.

All I know is that there is another woman there and Avira is trying her damndest not to kill her.

It only took them an hour to get to Braedon with how fast Treznor was driving. As soon as they got to Avira’s house they stopped the car, turned off the engine and went up to the house before they could even knock on the door. Avira opened the door and she was barely holding on. Her eyes were pure black and she had her claws out. Reznor saw that and he knew that they had gotten there just in time. 

Avira, shift and go for a run.

Hmm oh Ms. Darkmoore I need a refill. 

Huh I...going....to....kill...Her.

All of the sudden she pushed Treznor and Reznor out of the way and she went off of the porch and she ripped off all of her clothes and she fell to her knees. Her spine elongated and her ribs were breaking and reforming as they expanded. Her teeth turned into canines and her nose turned into a muzzle, her arms and legs turned into paws and she turned into her huge pitch black wolf. All of a sudden she heard the voice of the one she loathed. 

MS. DARKMOORE!

Avira looked in the direction of the house and snarled at it. Oh how she craved to go inside and tear that pompous vampire inside out. She looked at Treznor and he immediately understood what she wanted. After that she took off running in the direction of the forest. Treznor had his entire pack surround the house and make sure that presumptuous pompous vampire couldn’t go anywhere. Treznor shut the door going into the house, then he took out his phone and called Dmitri.

Ring....ring....ring....ring..

Dmitri?

Yes, who is this?

Uh we have a situation concerning Avira.

What happened?

Who’s the woman you left her with?

Her name is Cekrah “Morgan” Morgenstern why?      

Uh let’s just say that uh Avira is on the verge of going off the deep end.

Uh when we got here, let's just say that Avira was hanging by a thread of control not to shift and tear Cekrah limb from limb.

Is Avira there right now?

No, she is on a run right now to cool off. 

Wait, she shifted into her wolf?

Why do you think we’re here?

Ok, good point. Wait...did she go full transformation?

I would say about 99.5% full transformation. She still had a little control left but it was waning.

Ohhh s**t. Wait a minute is Cekrah ok?

Really it sounds like you are more concerned about Cekrah than you are about Avira.

Personally I wouldn’t want to see any of them hurt, just trying to have a little compassion. 

Is there something personal going on between you and this Cekrah?

We used to be a couple, not anymore. 

Did Avira know about this?

No she didn’t.

So she was ambushed?

So was I. Never in an eternity did I think I would see Cekrah again.

Just get back here and deal with this before it goes even more down the drain.

How could it go worse?

Oh I don’t know, maybe Avira is tearing the throat out of Cekrah.

Pfff...I’m taking care of invoices right now, I’ll be there in 20 minutes.

While Treznor and the pack were waiting for Dmitri, Reznor went to find Avira and when he found her, he saw that she had completely pitch black eyes. He knew that she was way beyond pissed. He didn’t know how to make her feel better. All of the sudden, Avira got up from where she was laying down and headed back to her house at a full out run. Back at the house, Treznor saw Dmitri’s car and he sighed. As soon as Dmitri got out of the car he saw that the pack was waiting for him. Treznor looked to the tree line and saw Avira walking out of the forest. She walked over to them but she remained in her wolf form. Suddenly the door opened and Cekrah came out. As soon as she saw Dmitri she smiled and tried to go over to him to kiss him but was stopped by Avira’s wolf.     

Dmitri tell these filthy mutts to go away.

The entire pack snarled at Cekrah.

Cekrah you might want to mind your words cause right now you are surrounded by wolves.

Where did that parasitic leech Avira Darkmoore go?

All of a sudden Avira’s pitch black wolf stepped between Dmitri and Cekrah. She then shifted back into her human form. Treznor had a pair of shorts and a sports bra ready for her. Cekrah’s face was completely filled with shock. Now Avira may be in her human form but she still has her claws out and her eyes were still pitch black. 

What did you just call me?

I called you a parasitic leech.

Avira walked in front of Cekrah and she slashed Cekrah’s face with her claws. Cekrah let out a loud scream and she cursed Avira out. Avira went away from all of them and when she was by herself a few yards away from everyone she looked at Cekrah.

Tell me Cekrah. What species do you think I am?

Avira smiled as she looked at Cekrah. Cekrah kind of got nervous seeing the look on Avira’s face.

 You're not wrong but you're not right either.

What in the hell is that supposed to mean?

All of the sudden Treznor, the pack, and Dmitri got on the porch out of the line of fire. Cekrah saw them doing that and she thought to herself, “What the hell is going on here to make them retreat to the porch?” Cekrah looked to Avira and saw that she had her eyes closed and that she was saying something. As soon as she was done saying whatever she said and when her eyes opened, bolts after bolts after bolts of lightning struck all around Avira. Cekrah’s eyes widened in shock and in terror at the discovery of what Avira could do.

W...what...A...are...Y...you?

I, Avira Darkmoore, last of the Darkmoore clan, am a Vampire/Werewolf/Witch hybrid aka The Grand Hybrid, more powerful then all three species.

Gulp...Uh....uh....uh  don’t kill me.

I won’t kill you because I don’t kill without cause but you are to stay away from Dmitri.

Ahh that is so unfair I had him first! I challenge myself...

Cekrah...uh huh...that is a fight you will not win.

Dmitri *sobs* she’s banning *sobs* me from *sobs* seeing you.

After Avira called Cekrah a phony, she jumped and attacked Avira. She tried to get her claws to Avira’s throat but when that didn’t work Cekrah bit her on the throat thinking that it would harm her. All it did was piss Avira off. Dmitri just stood there unsure about what to do. Avira did a front flip and forced Cekrah to the front and landed on her. She then turned into her wolf again. Just before she could bite down on Cekrah’s throat Dmitri grabbed her and threw her off of Cekrah. 

Avira landed quite a ways away and when she got up she looked directly at Dmitri and she could see that he was helping that leech. Treznor and the pack were completely surprised about what Dmitri did and they looked over to Avira and saw that her eyes went from Circassian blue to pitch black without turning the other two colors. Dmitri was helping Cekrah when he felt a sudden pain in his heart from what he had just done to Avira. The pack was snarling and growling at both Dmitri and Cekrah. Treznor went down and looked at Dmitri.

Do you know what you just did?

What do you mean?

You just lost all the respect of the werewolves. 

What does that mean?

It means don’t come to Tregaren again or they will kill you.

Why?

They’ll kill you because you harmed an alpha werewolf. I told you we look after our own.

Dmitri then realized what he did and he turned around and looked at Avira only to be met with a look so full of pain and disappointment. He felt like he let her down when he did that. He tried to go near her but she wouldn’t go anywhere near him. He realized that she was hurt. He hung his head and he tried to understand how Avira must be feeling. Avira looked at him and without even needing her eyes turned pitch black. She couldn’t believe that he would turn on her and chose Cekrah over her. Just the very thought of Cekrah turns her blood cold.
