The Attack part 2

He returned to the city of Okrith. That night at the nightclub that he owns, Sessiz Karanlik, as soon as Avira saw him, she turned and left. As soon as Dmitri walked into the nightclub, he immediately stopped walking because he caught a scent that he found to be so intoxicating. He instantly knew who that scent belonged to. He turned to his friend who he trusted more than anyone who also turns out to be his second in command.  

Ravetta I think that Avira is here.

Dmitri, it has been ten years since you saw her.

I’m well aware that it's been ten years, but there is no mistaking her scent. 

IF she is here we will find her.

I have been after this girl who is my equal for ten LONG years, the thought of being so close but JUST out of reach is driving me bat s**t crazy.

Pfff...would you just let her go. It seems pretty evident to me that she doesn’t want anything to do with you if she keeps evading you.

What makes you think that she is evading me? She could be trying to find me?

Yeaah right, then how come every time we come upon her scent she is nowhere to be found?

Uh....Alright you got me on that one. 

Let me ask you something, Dmitri?

What is it?

Didn’t your sister inject her with vampire venom?

Yeah what about it?

That would make her a vampire and I bet that she is wanting revenge. 

Pff...you know I never thought about that. If she does want revenge then why hasn’t she made her move yet.

How... How old was she when we ambushed her village?

Uh f..five I think.

That would make her fifteen, I believe that she is waiting till she is older to make her move.

Why would she do that?

If she wants revenge she would need to train and master certain skills. There is also the matter of if she drank blood and completed the transformation or not.

 O..ok you got a point on that one but we don’t know if she actually has.

All of a sudden another vampire loyal to Dmitri came running into the nightclub and headed for Dmitri.

What is Darvel?

Forgive the intrusion Dmitri but four of your vampires are dead.

Care to explain that one?

They were sucked dry by an unknown vampire.

Hmm, was the vampire male or female?

Uh...female I believe.

Did you get a look at her?

No, not a good one. I can tell that she was young though.

How young would you say?

Mid to Late teens, early twenties maybe.

Ravetta let's go see if Avira’s scent is on them.

Ugh oy vey...here we go again. Dmitri can’t you just let her go?

We’ve been through this. I’m not telling you again I will never stop till I have her in my arms.

Dmitri got up so fast and went to the site where the bodies were discovered. The second Dmitri saw them he didn't even need to go over to them. Avira’s scent hit him like a brick wall that he wouldn’t mind hitting again and again and again. As soon as Ravetta and Darvel came out, Dmitri ordered all the vampires to search the city for Avira. 

Avira Darkmoore you’ll never escape and you shall be mine.

While Dmitri is busy sending his vampires through the city to find Avira, she is out of the city and up on the hill that is overlooking the city. There is a house like a church that has been abandoned and with the sun coming up she needs to get into her coffin and sleep for a little while. Unfortunately her coffin with the water couldn’t be brought so she has a coffin that is metal on the outside and plush memory foam on the inside. She gets in and once that lid closed she didn’t care about anything else. As the sun began to set Avira’s coffin opened and she got up and was ready to get to work with her training. 

As soon as she started training, she all of a sudden was surrounded by a whole bunch of werewolves looking for a good time. Now she doesn't want to hurt them but if push comes to shove she will. She was hoping that they would leave her alone and move on but lady luck didn’t seem to be on her side and it certainly wasn’t on the werewolves. They engaged her in a fight with no provocation. She killed four out of the eight and the other four were badly damaged. She herself was pretty messed up. She hobbled her way back to the house like church and got back into her coffin and went to sleep for a while.      

While she was sleeping the werewolf venom and the vampire venom were at odds with each other but somehow her body was able to conform the two venom into one. Being both vampire and werewolf makes her a hybrid. Being a hybrid makes her stronger, faster, more dangerous, heals instantly, heightens senses, immune to silver, immune to the sun and she ages far slower than a vampire or a werewolf. By the time her coffin had opened eight years had past. She gets up and goes into her bathroom. She shaves her legs and when that is done just to finish it off she grabs the hot wax. She spreads the hot wax over her legs and puts the cloth down over the wax and pats it down. As soon as it is semi cool she rips the cloth off wincing as she does. Once she is done she realizes that she needs to get a new wardrobe. 

She grabs a skirt and a sleeveless shirt. She goes into the city and goes to the calidum topic. Once inside she gets black leather pants, black leather short strap top, a black leather cape and shiny high black high heels. As soon as she gets her outfit she goes back to her place and gets ready. She jumps into the shower and as soon as she is done she does her makeup. She does blood red lipstick and with black lip liner and she chooses black and red eyeshadow. Once her makeup is done, she gets dressed. As soon as she is dressed she takes out her hair from the towel and now that it is dry enough she curls it. Once she is done she looks like a vixen going on the prowl and tonight her sights are set on Dmitri.

As soon as she is ready to go the sun is just setting. She gives a devilishly malicious smirk and heads to Sessiz Karanlik. As she is walking to the door the vampire opens the door for her unbeknownst that she is the one that his master has been searching for. She goes down the stairs and goes to the bar and the second that she got there, she already had all the men drooling and lusting after her. She didn’t have to pay for a single drink. Avira met a vampire named RonRico. He went over to her and asked her if she would like to dance. She accepted his offer and went to the middle of the dance floor. 

Later that night, RonRico and Avira were at the bar doing shot after shot and that is when the doors flew open. Ravetta was the first one to come in followed by Darvel and then finally...Dmitri. As he was making his way down the stairs, he stopped all of a sudden. His eyes turned a light shade of red as he inhaled the air. Ravetta and Darvel both stopped and looked at him.

Hey man what is up?

She’s here.

Who is?

Avira Darkmoore is in here somewhere. I want her found.

All of the sudden as Dmitri was following the scent it disappeared. He didn’t look very happy about that. He then went over to the bar and saw that RonRico was with a girl doing shots. He went over to them and stood right behind the girl. He couldn’t believe that a human was in the nightclub. 

Hey RonRico I didn’t know that you had brought a date?

I didn’t meet her here.

What is your name sweetness?

My name is Avira.

Nice to meet you Avira, I’m Dmitri Blackbourne.

It is a pleasure to meet you, Dmitri. I’ve heard so much about you.

All good things I hope.

Hm well let's just say that they weren’t terrible. 

Well I suppose that is good. So Avira, what are you doing in Okrith?

I’m here for pleasure and business.

Hmm, which is pleasure or business?

It is both pleasure and business.  

How so?

Pleasure for the thrill of having fun and business cause an old person who I have a major beef with has yet to face justice for his crimes.

Oh to what crimes did he commit?

He committed the crimes of noneyourbusiness.

Ha ha ha ha that is funny. Do I know this person?

Yes you do but it isn’t anything that you need to concern yourself with. 

Hm I think that is my call.

Hmm well now that I’ve seen my target I’m going to go now.

As soon as Avira was at the door she revealed her scent and she saw that Dmitri had caught her scent and looked to the door and when he saw Avira he was cursing under his breath because he was speaking to her and he didn’t even realize it. He locked eyes on her and she smirked at him and before he could even make a move, she was gone, disappearing from his sight. He summoned Ravetta and Darvel.

What do you need, Dmitri?

That girl that I was just speaking to is the one that I’ve been searching for, for ten years. 

Damn she is hot.

What did you just say?

Nothing Dmitri. What do you want us to do?

I want her found...at once. 

Ravetta and Darvel left the club and searched for her. By this time Avira was back at her house like a church and smirking at what she had done. She decided to let him fret about it for a while, Avira decided to lay low for a while. Over the next week, Dmitri began to get more and  more frustrated with the game that Avira was playing with him. The game being cat and mouse. He hated the fact that Avira was making him look like an incompetent fool. One night while he and his men were searching for her they were attacked by a pack of werewolves. Now Avira was watching the fight and when another pack of werewolves came she decided to have pity on Dmitri. 

She jumped down from her watchful spot and she appeared right beside Dmitri. As soon as Avira landed right next to Dmitri, he looked at her with wide eyes. He didn’t expect that Avira would help him especially when she knows that he has been looking for her for the past 18 years. Dmitri didn’t understand as to why she would try to save him when she knows that he probably won’t let her go. As soon as all the werewolves were taken care of, Dmitri then turned to see that Avira was standing about twenty feet from him.

It is nice to officially see you again Avira. 

To be honest I was rather disappointed that you didn’t recognize me earlier, Dmitri.

Well I when I first saw you as a child I didn’t expect that you would grow up to become the way you are now. 

Well when you’ve had a person hunting you down for 18 years you have to learn to evolve and adapt to new changes. It also didn’t help that your sister turned me into a vampire.

Still holding a grudge for the fact that we ambushed you're village and killed your father?

Of course I am but for now I’ll say ta ta and leave you to finish your business that you have.

I’ll see you soon Avira. 

We shall see about that now won’t we.

That was the last thing that was said before Avira walked off. Before she got too far Dmitri sped over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her to him. He brought his face down to her ear and kissed just below it. 

Avira if you ever need me just call my name out and I will come to your aid. 

What if I can’t call out?

Well there is a second option. 

What is it?

Take my blood.

  Dmitri bit into his wrist so that blood came flowing out. As soon as the blood started to flow, Avira opened her mouth and took his blood willingly. As soon as his blood was in her system, Dmitri could feel her presence. He looked at her and wiped the blood off of her chin. He leaned in and placed a kiss upon her lips. She leaned into the kiss and deepened it. Dmitri pulled away and placed a hand on her cheek and he sighed. 

I’ll be seeing you soon Avira.

Avira watched as Dmitri left. The second that he left Avira was all of the sudden feeling very lonely. She headed back to her house and all of the sudden she felt that she was being followed. She looked all around but didn’t see anything. Ravetta was watching Avira from the shadows and she was determined to find out where she was staying. As soon as she found out that Avira was staying in a house like church, she took things into her own hands. 

While Ravetta was following Avira, Dmitri was about at his mansion. He was in the garden room and he was sitting down looking at a picture that he had of Avira. He had the picture framed and hung up. He couldn’t believe that he finally found the one that held his heart. Darvel came into the room and he couldn’t believe what he saw.

Mi’lord Dmitri, why are you in such a good mood?

Well to be honest I have finally found her.

You finally found Avira?

Yes...more like she saved my ass from a whole bunch of werewolves.

You just let her go?

I’m not going to force myself on her, I want her to come to me willingly. 

How did she react?

She was surprisingly welcoming. 

Did she do anything?

What do you mean?

She probably still wants revenge so my question is did she do anything about it?

No she didn’t.

Hmm well that is strange. 

I gave her my blood that way if she needs my help I can be there for her if she does. 

Well I suppose that is a good thing if she took your blood willingly.
