The scent of hot chocolate burst forth to fill every corner of the wooden house. The architectural style is very classic and the distinctive wood smell creates a comfortable feeling. The middle-aged woman handed her a cup filled with hot chocolate while walking out of the room. Alice leaned back and slowly drank it. It tastes a little bitter which is different from the usual hot chocolate made for her mom

While Alice was still busy admiring the architecture of the room, the door opened. The woman entered with a man. They both approached Alice, and for some reason, she felt at home and familiar.

She was always warned by his mom and Will not to follow strangers but now she is with someone she doesn't know even drinks their hot chocolate. But strangely Alice felt safe

"How do you feel?" asked the woman. Instead of answering her question, Alice chose to ask her back

The sound of the fireplace is the only breaker of silence. Her mother stood up and kissed her forehead giving a healing spell, slowly Alice’s pale lips turned red again. After that, she hugged Dylan and walked out of the room. Dylan stared at Alice's sleeping face. He gritted his teeth and followed his mother out.
