When I heard what Andrew had say, I stood there in disbelief, unsure of what to respond with.
I can't help but wonder if he was serious about what he said.
I walk up to Andrew and look him in the eyes as I do so. I could see the shyness on him, and I could feel how scared he was when he said that. My mind went back to Lucas and I thought about how since he doesn't know that I'm alive yet, he can live his life however he wants to. But I have a purpose that I need to complete, and I don't want my emotions to direct me in a direction that is counterproductive to my mission.
I just stood there, completely at a loss for words, as I had no idea what to respond with. I keep his hands in mine and check to be sure I haven't said anything that could be harmful to him...
