Butler Parker saw Britney coming downstairs and started setting the table.
"Madam, please come over for dinner! The gentleman is expected to come back later."
"Hmm!" Britney walked into the glass dining room.
She sat down, and the whole round table was empty except for her, making it appear particularly spacious.
On the table were delicately arranged three dishes and a bowl of nourishing soup, along with a bowl of rice. Although it was prepared for her alone, it was evident that it would be enough for two or three people.
"Parker, sit down and eat with us!" Britney said as she picked up her fork, addressing Parker who was standing nearby.
"Madam, please go ahead and eat! I need to go back to the kitchen to attend to something."
