"Ezra! Ezra, help me!" Isla twisted around desperately as she was being shoved into the police van, her eyes locked on Ezra. "Please, beg her for me! I did it all for you!" Ezra pulled himself up from the ground, staring at the woman he had once protected like his most precious treasure. He felt dazed. "Why?" He rushed over and grabbed Isla roughly.
