'WHAT THE HELL!'
I looked at the girl below me moaning my name with ecstacy but I was not having any fun. My dad's words kept playing in my mind.
"Get your Luna, if you want the Alpha's position" he had told me few hours ago.
I got off her and told her to leave. She was confused with my sudden actions.
"What happened Ri..."
"JUST LEAVE" I yelled at her.
She got scared and left after getting dressed. I know, I won't be needing her again.
Dad wanted me to find my Luna before he can hand me over his Alpha position. How do I tell him that My mate is already dead. She died even before I had chance to meet her. She was one of the pack member who was killed by rouges. I was at the training academy at that time and I felt the sudden pain in my heart. Pain that was unbearable, as if someone was ripping my heart from my chest with claws. My wolf Derek told me that we have lost our mate. I was not even able to save her. Derek was whimpering and crying for days. It took us time to get ourselves out of the trauma.
I didn't inform my parents about this incident. There is no Alpha without his Luna by his side. They would never give me the position and it will go to my younger brother who was just 15 years old. He had not even found his wolf yet. Not that I have anything against him. Infact I love him with my whole heart, but this Alpha position is rightfully mine.
But I know and am confident that moon Goddess can't be cruel to me. She must have selected my second chance mate. I know she is there somewhere. I just need to find her.
My parents insisted me on selecting a chosen mate but I am against it. I want my true mate, one that is made for me, just for me. Who would be my destiny. A strong she wolf, who will rule by my side. Who can be my strength and make my pack more powerful, with whom I will have that so called amazing 'mate bond' everyone boosts about.
If you ask me frankly, I am not bothered about this mate thing, I can have any female falling for me. Future Alpha of one of the strongest pack can have anything. I just want a strong Luna for my pack and for me too.

"Lets go out, I need a drink" I told me
"Today? Ummm... "
"Why do you have a problem?"
"No, its just, me and Jess were heading out
But its ok. Meet me at the car park."

Jess or Jessica was his mate and dear friend of mine too, hope she will understand and won't get angry witg me. I felt guilty for breaking his appointment with his mate, but what do I do. He was my best friend and I need him. Lucky bastard had found his mate on his eighteenth birthday itself. And me? Still talking in random female to satisfy my needs. Derek wanted me to save us for our mate, but that was not possible. What? I am a strong Male Alpha with animal instincts, I just can't keep waiting.
I huffed, getting up and dressing to head out
