Viktor's POV

Me, Jake and George were walking around training ground, discussing about the training schedule for next month. Just then, Jake's mobile rang. He took it out to see who is was. I got a bit uneasy seeing Jia's name flashing on his screen, 'why is she calling him?' I thought.

"Jake, come to Brittany's house, NOW!" I heard her voice. What happened to Brittany? I got worried.

"Jia, what happened? Is she ok? Are you ok? Why are you panting?" Jake asked horrified.

"I..I...am running to...to... her house, am almost... there, you...you....come there too. Something.... is not right" she told him between breaths. Oh goddess! Why is this girl going there by herself.

Jake looked at us, "Brittany is in some trouble, Jia is going there" he started running towards his car.

"Brittany, your human mate?" George asked?

Jake nodded.

We started running along with him.

As we barged inside the house, first thing I saw was this human guy, pushing Brittany on bed and then slapped Jia on face real hard.

I got so furious, same was with Jake. Both our mates were tormented by this fellow, right infront of our eyes. He surely is dead now.

I was beside him in just in a second and Rex took over. He punched him on his face with full force, he was knocked out there itself.

At same time Jake went and covered Brittany with scarf, holding her in his arms.

Jia lost her consciousness due to the impact of slap, her lips were bleeding. I grabbed her in my arms before she fell.

Jake started kicking and stamping that guy, with vengeance.

"Stop Jake, better we don't get involved in this" I told him.

"Viktor is right, I have already informed their police." George informed us.

I carried Jia and took her to pack hospital.

Brittany pov

I was terrified, when mom told me that she has sold me this gangster, who was right in front of me. He was huge and bulky and ugly. He was grinning at me and I felt disgusted.

Why my life was getting disastrous? What I had done wrong in life to deserve this. I was used to all the work and abuse, but this...this was inhuman.

Now that I had made few friends and was getting some happiness... But after this, I will be dead. I won't be able to go to school and meet Jia, and Jake....

I felt the instant connect with him. I...I liked him, and somehow I felt he liked me too. I know, hows that possible. How can anyone like, a messed up and troubled girl like me. Who had not dressing style and no beauty.

But I still had a little hope for us, now after this, I will be dead.

We were in my bedroom and Bill ( that ugly guy who bought me) was still looking at me and grinning as if I was some dessert, which he was gonna relish.

I was shaking, my hand were sweaty, they were clenching mobile in them and it vibrated. I always kept my mobile on vibration so mom could not hear if I got a call. Someone was calling me and that person was my only hope. I received the call but kept mobile in hand so that Bill could not know. Hoping that person will hear through mobile phone.

"Stay away from me" I stuttered

"Lets have some fun baby girl". He said coming near me. He pushed me on bed and hovered over me. I struggled to push him away will all the strength in my body. He was tearing my shirt, I don't know how long this went on, but suddenly he was getting away from me.

I saw Jia pushing him on the floor and than kicked his manhood. I was relieved, she came to help. She was the one who had called earlier.

She grabbed my hand bringing me back to senses. We ran towards the door but Bill caught us by hair. He dragged us back to bedroom and pushed me on bed. He slapped Jia. I was scared to death. She came to help me and now she was in trouble. Oh! God please don't let anything happen to Jia.

But very next second, Bill was punched on face and he stumbled on floor. He was knocked out by just a single punch. I looked up to see who it was.

That was Jia's boyfriend, Viktor. He looked so furious. Did his eyes color change? Or I just imagined it?

Than I saw Jake. I was so happy to see him, I started crying. he came and covered me with scarf, taking me in his arms. I felt so secured. He kicked Bill few times to vent his anger, but Viktor stopped him. Viktor was holding unconscious Jia in his arms and took her outside.

Ond more person came and informed Jake that he had called police.

Police arrested my mom and Bill. They took both of them with themselves.

"You will come to my place? " Jake asked me.

I was baffled, how can I go to his place. He saw my discomfort.

"I mean Jia's place." He informed me.

"You both live together?" I asked. He nodded.

"We need to ask Jason" Jake's friend told him.

"Who is Jason" I asked Jake

"Umm...he...he is head of our family."

"Ok, he said, we can bring her" Jake's friend said looking at us, but when did he called???

We reached a mansion after half hours drive. I had never been in this part of town. This mansion was tucked inside the forrest, it was so huge and had a big ground attached to the right side. There were so many people around here. I was so confused. Is Jia's family so big? And all of them stayed together???

Something was weird.

Jake took me inside. It was lavish! and full of people. He introduced me to Jason.

WHAT!!!

I Thought, Jason must be some old fellow, like his grandfather or something. But This fellow turned out to be a very young and unbelievably handsome guy. He had this air of authority around him.

"Welcome Miss...." Jason asked.

"Harris" is said.

"Welcome Miss Harris, to our house. Please feel comfortable. This is your home now." He said giving me a smile.

"Jake, take her to her room" he continued.

"Thank you Jason" I said and everyone looked at me with horror on their face. What did I say wrong?

Jake took hold of my arm and started talking me somewhere. He nodded at Jason. No I think he bowed at him?.

'Ok whatever, I want to meet Jia first. Hope she is ok'

"Can I meet Jia first, I am really worried for her" I told Jake.

He nodded and took me towards a door. He knocked on it and someone informed us to come in.

Inside was like an appartment.

Jia was lying on a couch with Viktor caressing her hair. They were so much in love. They straightened after we went near.

Jia took my hands in hers and made me sit beside her.

"Are you ok?" she asked.

I nodded.

"Are you ok?" I asked and she gave me a smile.

"I am so embarrassed, I blacked out by just a single slap, I wanted to help you but..." She said felling guilty.

"No... Please don't say that. I feel so bad, you had to go through this because of me. But thank you so much for helping me... I just can't imagine, what would have happened, if you had not come on time. Thanks Jia. I said with tears rolling on my cheeks.

She hugged me

"Its ok Brittany, don't worry. Nothing. Happened. And now you are here. So you are safe. You have Jake... I...I mean, we all are there to take care of you." She said wiping my tears.

I have Jake? , What did she mean by that.
