Warrior's Mates

So far my life has been 'Normal' as normal as it can be. I had a wonderful childhood, loving and caring parents, bunch of amazing friends and one of the most respected title in my pack. I was head Warrior of Pearl moon pack. I always wanted to be warrior, my dad was head Warrior too. I was trained by him at very young age to fit in his shoes.

What else can anyone ask for.

But still, something was missing.

My 'Mate'

It had been five years, and I still had not found my mate. At times I thought, she died or she was settled with someone else. I had lost the hope and curiosity to find her. I had engrossed myself in my work, training, fighting, thriving to push the line.

I was left, confided to training ground and Gym.

All my friends had their mate. Earlier we used to hang out together in school. But now all of them were busy with their lifes, mates and responsibilities. Jason (Alpha) and Sandra (Luna) were childhood sweethearts. We knew they would be mates. Sandra was Gamma's daughter. Jason wanted me to be his Gamma, but I preferred being Warrior. George became Beta and he found his mate Lucy, one of our pack member. Alex was given Gamma's position. His mate Megan was one of the warrior's daughter.

Sandra kept suggesting, that I should travel to find my mate or choose someone as my mate. But one I could have chosen, had found her mate and left.

Sara, she was Jason's baby sister, younger to us by one year. We were together for some time before she found her mate in Alpha of Opal pack. It was at her birthday party, where all the High ranking officials of near by packs were invited. They saw each other and were inseperable. She never even looked back at me. Well, thats how strong, mate bond is.

But my mate was there, right there in the same pack. At all the pack ceremonys and at all pack gatherings. I just didn't look hard. Was I supposed to look at underage girls?

Today everything has changed. When reached pack ground, to train the new enrolled girl's first session, I was welcomed with smell of fresh lilies. This Smell was hypnotizing me, enthralling me. Rex was very happy, bouncing around,

"She is here, she is here, our mate is here , go find her." He kept saying

He too had been waiting for her to come up.

Can she be one of these young girls?

I asked all of them to stand in line in front of me and addressed them looking into each one's eyes.

And then, I. Saw. Her.

The most beautiful, delicate, mesmerizing being ever.

Rex is yelling in side my head

"Mate! Mate!

What are you staring at, she is right there, mark her."

"Not so soon, Rex"

She is staring back at me with her deep brown eyes. As I go near her, she gets breathless. I take her hand, oh! her hands are so soft, and walk towards woods. I need to talk to her first. She follows me without saying anything. I dismiss the class.

We stand there behind some trees. She is wearing black shorts and blue hoodie. She must be 5'6", I am towering her. She keeps looking at ground. I know she is an omega, I can feel her aura. But that is not my concern, my concern is she is quite younger than me.

I cross my hands in front of me, to suppress the urge of holding her, embracing her, kissing her.

'Control Warrior, Control'

I ask her few questions about herself. She answers me never looking up. I introduced myself and offer my hand for handshake.

"Really now Viktor!" Rex frowns at me.

She lets go of my hand really fast.

The only thing that comes in my mind after this is to bring her to my room at pack house and for that we need her parent's permission.

I take her hand again, and that electrifying tickles.

She asks me, where are we going and she thinks I am going to reject her!

REJECT HER?

How can I ever decline the most precious gift, my mate, my other half, that moon goddess made just for me.

Her mom is overly excited to send her with me but her dad is reluctant. I can understand their reaction and I assure them that Jia will be safe with me and they need not worry, after Jia goes to do the packing.

I go to her room to help her, I don't know when Rex took over me and next I find myself pinning Jia to wall in her little room.

"Oh god! Rex, how could you?" I don't know what they interacted. I get nervous and open her wardrobe to get some thing done. What I see inside just surprise me immensely.

She has my photographs pasted on inside of her wardrobe??? How she got them?

She told me she wants to be a Warrior like me

"Viktor, our little princess, idolize us" Rex told me beaming.

And here, I am introducing myself to her, how stupid. I just don't know to to react. I have never in my life faced such situation. I can fight 10 wolfs at time, but this! Its difficult. And out of my clumsiness I worsen the situation by opening the drawer that contained her... Her inner garments.

I better wait outside.

Right now, I am waiting outside her house, in my Jeep, for her to come out. We need to hurry I have to go with Jason for Alpha meeting post lunch.

As she comes out I take her bag and we drive back to pack house. She doesn't speak anything. Is she too shy, or she is not ok with this arrangement?

We reach pack house and take her to my room on third floor. I hardly use this room. Most of time I am sleeping in my office behind Gym.

But that has to change now. I have a mate, my family, to get back to, even if it gets late in night.
