The war

"Rouges" we both said at once.

I was terrified, there were Rouges, lots and lots of Rouges in our territories. How was this even possible with our security and patrolling. This can't be. I looked at Viktor, he was furious, think about same thing maybe. Surely there is some mistake, there is some loophole somewhere.

We heard screams of people, we both started running towards the party area holding hands. Viktor transformed and went into the crowd of people that were running haywire.

"Go in the safe house in basement and take as many people as possible with you." He mindlinked me.

"No, I am not leaving you, I will fight with you" I won't leave his side

"No Jia, go and help people to safety, we will take care here." He told me again in stern voice.

"Viktor..." I tried to argue with him. I wanted to be with him.

"It's an order Warrior Davis". Oh sucks!

I turned my attention towards the pack house, just then there was a huge explosion, that deafening explosion inside the pack house. The whole pack house crumbled to ground like made up of cards. My home, our home was left to nothing. I felt it then the connection breaking of pack members. They were stumbling to death. Someone from inside was gone rouges, how else they can plant explosives inside pack house.

Mom, dad, I remembered them dancing when I left. I ran towards the tent. It was destroyed too, everything was scattered. everone was fight with rouges, but we were being out numbered. There were screams and growls everywhere. I picked up a wooden pole with sharp edge and ran towards the rouges, slicing and threshing whom ever came in front of me. I was not going to give up.

I don't know how long I was there killing rouges but connection kept breaking giving me a sharp pain in my heart. Once the pain was too harsh. No...No..." MOM...DAD"..I yelled, crying in frustration.

I was running in search of them when someone held my wrist firmly. I turned around to look who it was.

"Tyler!...where is Mich, is she alright."

He just looked at me. I was not able to read his expression. He started dragging me.

"Leave me Tyler, I need to find mom and dad, where are you taking me?" I kept wiggling trying to free myself but his grip was strong. What's wrong with him. I was confused beyond words

We reached somewhere far from the pack house, he pushed me roughly to the ground. It seemed I was in middle of war, distraughted with his behaviour.

"Warrior Kent's mate. As I had promised. Now its your turn to keep your promise." Tyler said, his voice was so harsh.

What was he saying and to whom. Thats when it hit me the most distorious pungent smell, I got up to look at him. The Black Devil himself. He looked horrific half human half wolf, blood red eyes boring in me and his laugh that frozed my blood. I was petrified.

"Good work Tyler, now Warrior Kent the most dangerous of all will dance for us." He spoke in his high pitch voice sending tremors in my body.

I turned towards Tyler

"Why?" He was the traitor, who had helped Black Devil to get in, being a best tracker he was good with subduing scents

"I will be beta of the most notorious pack."

"You have gone mad. You are killing your own people for just a position? You are disgusting. Viktor will kill you and Michelle, she will hate you." I said glaring at him.

"She no longer can do anything." No, that can't be. Did he kill his mate.

He hit me hard. He gripped my hair pulling me today his face his canines in display.

"Anyways I hated her, now she won't bother me."

A pain shot in my head due to his hold.

Just then a huge wolf pounced on Tyler

Viktor..

They both rolled to the ground, Tyler tranformed into his wolf and lept on Viktor, they were fighteing. Viktor was trying to get hold oh his neck, Tyler sunked his teeths in Rex's legs, he growled angrily shaking off Tyler, Viktor again lept at his neck. This time he got it.

One more explosion and whole connection shattered. No... Alpha and Luna...as my attention went in the direction of pack house an unknown sorrow caught me, our pack was perished. We were abandoned. Our Alpha no longer lived to care and protect us.

As if this was not enough, what happened next was unimaginable

I had not noticed Black Devil moving with silver dagger in his hand.

I screamed due to the unbearable pain that shot in my heart. I stumbled to ground screaming my mates name

"VIKTORRRR...."

I was screaming in pain, clenching my heart but no voice came out. My voice had died in my throat, choking me.
