Viktor POV

I left Jia at my room and went to my office. Need to change, before we head for the meeting. I wanted to spend time with her, help her arrange her stuff, but duty comes first. I change into blue jeans, white shirt and black jacket. I get Alpha's car from parking space and drive till the front of the pack house.

Jason and George get in, Jason at Back and George at passenger seat.

"Alpha, Beta, very good afternoon to both of you. Shall we start" I ask.

"Ya Viktor" Alpha confirms, he is busy in his mobile.

We move towards the main road.

George clears his throat.

"Hey Alpha, did you get the latest buzz?" He was smirking looking at me.

I knew he was up to something.

"No, what is it?" Jason asked.

"One of our Warrior took his young student behind some trees and made out with her" he said with straight face.

"Hey! Hey, that not what happened" I almost yell at him.

"How do you know? Was it you, Viktor?" Jason asked in disbelief. He had his full attention on us now.

"Ya, I... I..Took her...but .." I shuttered.

"He has even locked her in his room" George added with shaking his head.

"Viktor??" Jason asked in shock.

"Its not like that, I..." me

"Isn't she at your room? " George

"She is but..." Me

"She is? Oh god Viktor, I could not believe" Jason

"SHE IS MY MATE" Me

"You found your mate?" Jason

Ya, I just.... Me

"You didn't tell me? Jason

"I was abo..." Me

"Did you tell Sandra" Jason

"No, I was gonn..." Me

"Oh! You didn't even tell Luna?" George

"How could you do that, Viktor? We were so worried for you, Sandra, she takes you as her brother, and you didn't inform her too?"Jason.

"WILL YOU BOTH LET ME SPEAK" I almost yell in frustration.

They both start laughing loudly.

"Guyyyss!" I laugh too. They were just pulling my leg.

"Congrats bro, I am so happy for you. I would like to meet her someday." Jason told me.

"You know her probably, she is Martha's daughter" I tell him

Martha was his mom's assistant, he knew her.

"Oh! Is it? Jia right? I have seen her around when she was small" Jason tells me.

Rest of the ride goes with us chatting about random stuff.

Meeting goes on for too long, it's 10pm by the time we reach back at pack house.

When I enter my room, I see, Jia is sleeping with covers over her head. She must be scared all alone in new place. I take a quick shower and while drying my hair, I see Jia peeping through covers and checking me out. I smile to myself. She quickly takes covers back on her head as I turn to look at her. So she is just pretending to sleep. I go and sleep beside her, pulling her closer to me. I know we both are experiencing this enticing feeling, which is new to us. For me she is my home, where I can be free and exposed. She completes me, just like the last piece of jigsaw puzzle that compltes the picture, which is made, to fit in perfectly.

I try to pick some conversation with her, asking about my photographs, she has in her wardrobe. She says she took all those, it amazes me, she has been taking my photos, when I didn't even knew she existed.

I take her face in both my hands and kiss her on forehead and her cheeks. Rex is going crazy, he wants more, but I am not sure how much she is comfortable. I don't want to rush into things. I stare at her plump lips, making my mind whether to go for it or not.

'Viktor, Rouges at Northern border' Jake yells through mindlink. I sit up straight. I have go.

I hate leaving her alone again. She must be hating me by now. I run towards the border in my wolf form with my men. I am furious, we need to catch them alive. Rouges trespassing into our borders is not for fun. There is a reason to it, we need to find out.

We catch them and lock them in cells at basement of pack ground, Alpha is informed.

The whole night goes in interrogation and torture. They still stick to their story of coming in search for food. We know, there is more to this.

Its 6 am in morning and we are exhausted. We decided to take some rest before getting back to them.

When I reach our room, Jia is not there, maybe she left for school. Now that I see my room in day light, I see her stuff around. She has kept some dolls on the bedside table, there is a teady sitting on rocking chair, washroom has some girl cosmetics. All these bring smile to my face. I miss her, hope she gets back soon.

I meet Sandra at breakfast, need to inform her about Jia

"Luna" I greet her

"Hey Viktor, how you are doing?" She is having her coffee with some egg and toast.

"I am fine, thanks, I need to tell you something" she looks at me confused.

"I..I found my..mate" 

"WHAT! OH WOW, where is she" she asks looking around

"She is not here"

"Then?"

"She is at school" I tell her

Her eyes go wide and she bursts out laughing

"What's so funny?" I ask her getting annoyed.

"Just imagine, Pearl moon pack's most fierce and dreaded head Warrior's mate is in school." She tells me controlling her laughter.

I eye her

"Ok, ok don't get angry, sorry I was just kidding, so that's why you were not able to find her. She was underage"

"Ya maybe" I mumbled.

Its 3 pm and Jia is not back. I get worried, I didn't even take her mobile number.

So dumb of me, now how do I connect with her? I can't even mindlink her.

I go down to look for her, she is not there. I saw one of her friend in gaming room, and that's Tyler with her. I go and approach them.

"Hey Tyler"

"Hey Viktor"

Then I turn to that girl

"Hi, umm do you know, where Jia is?" I ask her

"Ya, she went to her job after school" she replied frowning.

"She has a job?" I didn't knew that.

"Ya, she works at a cake shop at south hill- , she didn't tell you?" She was now confused.

"Maybe she missed out, umm.. can you give me the address?"

I want to go and pick her up, she will be surprised,

"She gets off at 6" her friend informs me as am leaving after taking the address.

Ohh! I will have wait then.

I reach there at quarter to 6 and wait for her in my Jeep parked opposite to the shop. It's a small shop coloured in shades of pick. Decorated with artificial flowers. They must be well known, as I see lots of visitors.

At 6 :10, she comes out with a tattooed girl and a blonde guy. Jia is chatting with the girl holding her hands, while the guy is locking up the place. They are humans. I didn't knew Jia can talk so much, she hardly talks around me.

"You are hardly around each other" Rex snorts.

Well that's true.

Just then, that guy flungs his arms around Jia and other girl, as if group hugging. I growled loudly.

'No dude, thats my girl'. I get out of jeep and walk towards them. Why is that girl waving at me? Whatever! I reach them and kiss Jia on cheeks, remove that fellow's hand and place mine around her, bringing her closer to me. Now its perfect.

"MINE" Rex growls.

Both her friends are gwaking at us.
