Catherine lowered her head.
"I heard from Helen that you not only had a big argument with her, but you also hit her and injured her foot?"
"I didn't!" Lorenzo interjected. "Grandpa, I can testify. I was in the house when Helen came, but I didn't want to see her. So I asked Catherine to send her away. I've made it very clear to her that I won't marry her."
Leon glared coldly at Lorenzo. "Be quiet. I'm asking Catherine."
"I really didn't," Catherine insisted. "Ms. Hanks and I only exchanged a few words, and then she left." She felt utterly helpless. "You can check the surveillance footage at the door. I guarantee I didn't even touch Helen."
