"C'mon guys wake up you are already late". Mom shouted from the hallway. . Bella woke up to 6 messages and one missed call from Flippy.. She cried all night that she didn't know when she fell asleep. . Bella didn't bother to respond to Flippys text cayse she was so sad and she didn't want to ho to school. . She was so slow to get ready which made her mum worry that she might be ill..
" Are you okay Bella? , You haven't said anything mean to your brother or me since morning? " Mom asked peeping her head through Bella's room door
" Yeah mum I'm fine. . Just having a slow day that's all" Bella replied reluctantly..
" Okay boo get ready quickly you are almost late" Bella's mum replied...
Bella was quiet throughout the drive to school and didn't even say anything to her mum nor brother. .
"Mum Bella had a tough day in school yesterday and she even sat at the rejects table" Jack shouted from behind
" Ughhh shut up nobody asked you"
"Wait Bella is this true, why didn't you say anything? " Bella's mum stopped the car almost immediately
" C'mon mum its nothing serious honestly it was my first day of course I'd have difficulty in making friends " Bella replied coldly..
" I had a pretty cool day yesterday, spoke to a lot of girls and all".Jack replied butting in their conversation..
" Now Jack I don't want you talking to girls you know how i feel about that"
"Yes mum it was just a friendly conversation nothing more ". . .
Bella was thinking of how to survive another day in that horrid school with Tricia and Drew... She couldn't stand either of them...
As Bella was lost in thought walking into school she bumped into Flippy that was when she came back to planet earth
" Hey there pumpkin, you couldn't stay away from me for one night could you? "
Bella hissed and left Flippy standing on the hallway. She walked quietly into the class room and her eyes met with Drew.
They kept their eyes locked till Trica nugged Drew on the shoulder and ask why he was staring at her. Bella took a sit and was already half way into depression valley before she felt a tap in her leg. She turned and it was Flippy passing her a paper. She collected it and it read " Hey, you don't seem happy today? Are you good? you even ignored me after eating my sandwich " Bella gave a soft laugh and continued reading .
" You should smile often it suits you , . Text me tiger " . Bella turned her head towards Flippy and smiled , Drew was curiously watching from behind.
At lunch , Bella walked in to a full cafeteria as usual . She clutched her tray tight as she walks over to her table. She sees Flippy already sitted there waiting for her . She gave a soft smile and walked over
" You know you don't have to guard me , I can take care of myself " Bella said with a huge smile on her face .
" I thought you were not going to come for lunch , i was waiting patiently for you tiger " Flippy said with calm anxious look . Bella sat down on the uneasy bench and they both laughed at how much people kept opening the door and interrupting their meal.
" You are one of the cool kids Flippy , why are you hanging out with me ? I am already a puke to Tricia I don't want her to think i am a w***e for hanging out with you ."
" Popularity isn't everything Bella , theses people only like me because I'm quite good with football that's all they don't really care about anything else " .
" why do you call me tiger tho ? "
" You are feisty just like one and cute too "
" Tigers are cute now ? "
