Once again, they are at each other’s throats, though Evie has a point. She shouldn’t be the only one to give up something. We watch him leave; he is pissed off that she even suggested it.
Evelyn is a bit upset, but she has a determination in her; his magic scares her. It scares all of us, but I can see the wheels turning in her head, and I know deep down, as much as he says he will force her, I know he never will, because part of him loves that she is so vulnerably human, though our little mate doesn’t know that. Doesn’t realize the change she has brought out of him.
