The Village

They reached the village.

A very big family was waiting for them, All came and hugged Amira and Mihil it was the largest teary reunion that Maya was ever seen. An old women came to Maya introduced her as Grandmother and poured kisses, she was totally confused “What the hell was happening, am I dreaming”.

But then all were suddenly aligned in a line started to bow, A one elder man with a big beard with a fine differently shaped stick in his strong arms and a differently dressed came there. Amira and Mihil bowed to him and got blessings. Maya was astonished by all these things she doesn’t know how to react. That elder man came to Maya and smiled and tears came through from his eyes. That was his grandfather and the chief of the Mahal clan.

Maya’s POV

“What is this place Most are huts and only some very small building, I hadn’t seen here anyone with a smartphone”. My parents are talking to them for hours they simply forgot me.

But then a Girl she seemed to be 13 years old come around and told Maya that dinner is served.

She came to the dinner table it was a very congested one , already eight people are sitting including her parents they got a seat beside them for Maya , She ran towards them and grabbed the seat . She secretly told to her mother “I need some answers” her mother replied “In the morning you will know”. The dinner was like some roti with pickle but tasted very delicious.

Maya’s POV

“What I need to share bed also with girl”.

Maya: What is your name?

Milu: I am Milu and you are my cousin. I am very happy you are here with me. I have so many things to talk to you, but first you need to get some rest so sleep sister.

Maya: Goodnight

Maya’s POV

What the hell is happening, this is horrible my parents were keeping so much secrets from me, was my life was a lie I need to get answers.

Suddenly she heard wolf sounds, wolfs where howling and suddenly she got up like seen a bad dream. After few minutes lied down and closed her eyes.

At 5 am Milu called Maya asked her to wake up but the fact is she never fall asleep so much things were going on her head.

She stood up in that small room and followed milu to outside of the room where her mother was waiting for her.

Amira: Good Morning Maya. Today is a very special day for you, you will know who you are and what your Purpose of your life is. Get a bath and get ready to meet your Grandfather and my father Mehengha the Clan chief of Mahal.

Maya: Why is this happening to me? What have you done to my life?

Maya started crying and immediately Amira hugged her and said “Everything we did is only to protect you, you are very precious please get ready Maya”.
