3rd POV:
Blood was dripping down on the floor like a stream of water descending downwards. A wild smirk was plastered on the young man's face, whose face was covered with the splashes of former's blood, holding a knife that he just used to slit the throat of the man who was now withering on the floor like an animal being slaughtered. Inhuman groans were leaving his mouth, as he covered both of his hands to make unsuccessful efforts to keep the blood inside of his body.
A hurtful look was placed on his face as he glanced for one last time on the expressionless face of his murderer whom he loved like a brother.
He tried to find any regret, any remorse on the younger's face but he was just giving him an icy glare with a face as cold as ice. The light of life soon faded from his eyes as his arms fell limp on his lap, his eyes gazing into the empty space now.
The whole scene was enough to give Goosebumps to the two persons standing behind the young man but he was just blankly staring at the dead body of his, without any hint of guilt or regret.
He seems to be rather enjoying the scene that was presented in front of his eyes. A loud chuckle left his mouth, as he turned to his other two men who were looking at him, maybe with slight fear.
"How can you so carelessly kill him without any proof Jacob, you had no evidence against him and yet you killed him in an instant without thinking twice", the shorter named Yonkai gave him a look of disbelief.
On hearing those words, the grin was replaced by pursed lips as he gave Yonkai a death glare. He kicked the body of the dead man mercilessly and held his knife towards Yonkai while growling at him, "that", he pointed towards the dead body, "is what you get for thinking that you could betray me"; he stepped towards the shorter who gulped a little.
"I don't need to wait for any damn proof, if I find anyone suspicious, I would eliminate them without second thoughts, and no one can stand in my way and I repeat, no one can tell me what to do", he completed his sentence while spitting to his left side.
"Calm down Jacob", the taller one said with a calmer voice.
"What Yonkai wanted to say was that we still haven't found the files, and you killing your loyal men this easily would just promote distrust among your subordinates, you need to be more discrete", David tried to reason with the younger while placing his hands on Jacob's muscular shoulders.
The later visibly calmed down a little as he placed his knife in the holder after cleaning it with the couch cloth.
"You are right, and Yonkai I am sorry for being rude, you know how I get when I am angry. Now we need to find those classified files before anyone tries to use them against us. You need to search every corner of this house, look for any connections, any friends or relative that could lead us to any clue", he addressed the elder boys who listened to him intently.
"Now let's get out of here, this place stinks of blood", he said while moving out of the living room when a picture caught his attention.
It was a picture of two small children holding each other by the seaside.
"Who is this in the picture", Jacob questioned the two guys beside him.
"That is Park James with his brother. He studies dance in another city, James used to care a lot for his brother, he even joined this gang to secure his brother's future", David gave Jacob a detailed explanation.
"hmm....you need to have a background check on him as well, no one is pure or innocent in this world, he might have given those files to his brother so no one would suspect him, if you find even a hint that he is involved in some sort of mafia business bring him to me instantly or else the consequences won't be favorable for you", he gazed darkly at both and walked out of the room.
"What have you become Jacob", the shorter named Yonkai mumbled under his breath while David just sighed beside him.
"Let's go and look for his brother then", David said while they both walked out of the house after him, leaving the dead Park James to rot in the house.
