Ellie's pov
The news of president Lin was never ending even from my fathe , at dinner he was supposed to make it about the company and us but he kept on talking about how president Lin achieved so much which made me despise him more, indeed was the money worth it if he had so many rivals and enemies?
" hump " I huff to myself which daddy would notice if he was paying me any attention.
So about the enemies, I know I wouldn't like that but someone like him would because he was his own enemy for being bad .
I felt neglected and I don't like feeling neglected and that is how dad was making me feel right now . I sighed dropping my cutleries fed up of dad's yip yap.
" I remember you liking peas " dad says with a frown.
Really?
He couldn't see I was uncomfortable with his president Lin talk but he could see me not eating peas ?, I'm never talking to him again.
" No! I like chicken and chips . . . daddy I don't like you taking about president Lin, he's bad " I frowned crossing my hands over my chest with a pout, dad probably thought I was behaving like a baby well I'm not.
" he may be bad but a contract and partnership with him could change the company and sometimes you've got to make friends with the enemy to do what's best for the company you'll be taking over soon and you have to learn this too, with him . . . . the enemy, the company would go higher " dad was indirectly talking about him again which I hated, he was being bad to me in my own house even though he isn't here or didn't know us.
" daddyyyyy " I groaned threatening to cry and never forgive him forever, yes forever.
" okay dear " dad chuckles and I huff my hair off my face angrily .
I have had jet black hair and a blue stripe at the corner since I was born, I got it from my mom . . . before she died . . . giving birth to me I never knew her but I knew dad loved her and she was a good person.
Daddy always says my light golden brown eyes were a gift and I got them from my grandma, I thought so too because it suited my hair impressively everyone called me cute.
" Tell me about the company instead daddy " I tell daddy as I always say talking and interactive friendly decisions make the food more delicious even if it's not .
Daddy is the president of BT corporation and I'm proud of the achievements he's made as a multi millionaire which makes him busy and rare but I still love him . . . very much.
" well . . . the company is going great and things are really adding up plus we have a contract going on " daddy says all smiles, I admit I have never seen him this happy before over a contract . . . . . oh well.
" I'd like to come over sometime " I smiled shaking my head from side to side in excited .
" good idea Ellie I'll have everything done for you by Wednesday" dad smiles nodding to my request.
" Eeeek . . . really daddy?”
" Really sweat heart " daddy assures and I can't wait, wednesday is next tomorrow !
