"Hey, Mom, I just got home. I will call you back in the morning."
I sent a voice note to Mom before throwing my weak body on the bed. I was drained by the incident in the meeting room this afternoon. Never in my wildest dreams had I ever imagined being assaulted in my workplace let alone the part of being rescued by Sebastian Smith.
I closed my eyes to get rid of all those memories when my phone vibrated. I picked up my phone to see Sebastian's caller ID.
"Come to my room, ASAP," came his stern voice as soon as I received the call. I wanted to say 'NO' but he ended the call before I could speak. I sighed looking at my phone and got up to obey his order.
"Come in," he yelled after I knocked on his door twice. I pushed the door open and walked inside. The room was empty
