Way to dullen the mood, Samiya.
The room went silent, and I found Alpha Zain looking at me a little differently than he had before. In those midnight blue eyes, I found a mix of concern, worry, and if I wasn’t wrong, sympathy.
I cleared my throat and moved closer to Alpha Zain, forcing my lips into a smile. “And what else does the book say about the tests we could do?”
