Zain took a step back, and I felt all of my senses returning to me. Clearing my throat, I straightened my back and looked up at my mate.
It didn’t look like Zain would back down from this silent war anytime soon or leave without getting an answer from me. I couldn’t even think properly because I knew that with each second that passed the man was relentlessly trying to get into my mind and trying to find answers for himself.
“And you? Maybe I should ask you what you’re so desperately trying to hide from me, huh? Ever since you let me see those vivid scenes in the cabin this morning, I haven’t been able to access one single thought from you. Maybe, you’re the one hiding things.”
