When I had first decided that I wanted to be Luna no matter what, I hadn’t put into consideration that Alpha Zain would act like a destructive child from time to time.
The man hadn’t bothered to talk to me much. It seemed as though he was more concerned with the wounds on my body rather than the person who just so happened to carry those wounds.
He ignored every word that came out of my mouth and once he felt he was done with his skimming and assessment, he left the clinic without a word.
Not only was Zain refusing to speak any words to me, Scarlet had also gone silent. Last I heard from her was a day ago, during the fight. I had never seen Scarlet so determined before and when it was time for her to take over and fight for us, I felt all her emotions so deeply.
