The woman’s confession almost knocked the air out of my lungs, but I was quick to recover.
“Prove it,” I muttered, my senses still clouded with both a mix of disbelief and shock.
Jenna shook her head as though she was disappointed that I didn’t believe her and she reached into one of her pockets before passing a picture over to me. “I’m Meidran’s cousin and hopefully this convinces you because I was really hoping that we could use this one-week break the alpha gave us to do some things together before the next challenge springs on us.”
