I was both intrigued and terrified by this woman for all the wrong reasons.
Goddess, help my soul.
Back in my office, I couldn't help but let my mind wander to the conversation that I had with Samiya. I had given her a golden offer. One that could have been beneficial for us both.
If the woman had just chosen the right option, then both my wolf and I would have been satisfied knowing that he could get to have Samiya’s body at any time and day we pleased, and she would have had access to anything wealth and status could buy.
No one would dare try to talk down to her if she was one of my concubines, much less my favorite, and with the way she made Ralph stir, I had no doubt that she could become my favorite in less than a month.
But the woman had chosen to be stubborn.
