Chapter Eighteen

Outside the Kyros Mansion, in the wood a shadow lurking around.

“Pfff” Khaos huffed revealing her face in the wood her gaze on the mansion.

“Watch your back Fletchers” she chuckled still staring at the mansion.

A voice ring in her head and she groaned taking strides backward.

“I will be back” she smirked finally leaving.

A red haired bird suddenly appear immediately she left.

The bird looked at her retreating figure till she left, it glanced at the mansion flying towards it.

“Red haired bird!!!” Someone shouted looking up.

The guards looked up immediately, the bird flew away seeing it caught attention.

🗣I heard King Carrius came here

🗣Yeah to meet Princess Maude but Supreme lord disapproved.

🗣He went home with his face covered in shame.

“Shut the fxck up!!” Maude yelled at the maids.

🗣It’s a fact

“I said shut that lips or I shut it” she glared at them and they scurried away.

“Kaal how much are you covering up for that girl” she grits her teeth.

Calantha looked at Kaal with a raised eyebrow.

“Kaal…” she called out.

“Yh? I was thinking of something” he responded.

“Hmm, you said you wanted to tell me something right?” She asked.

“Yeah” he sigh.

“Listen up” he muttered starting.

Flashback•••••

The Fletchers mansion is busy as everybody is running around doing one thing or the other.

A woman in her late thirties ran inside breathing heavily and all eyes fell on her.

“Your highness” they bowed.

“Where is my husband?” She asked no one in particular.

“I said where is the fxcking king!!!” She yelled hearing no response.

“He’s in his chamber” a herald replied.

“Took you long enough to reply” she scorned hurriedly running to the king chamber.

“Your highness” the herald bow.

“Is the king inside?” She asked.

“Yes your highness but he said no disturbance” the herald replied.

“That’s for others not for me” she scoffed walking towards the door.

“I can’t let you in” the Herald said bowing afraid of looking her in the eyes.

“Sorry?” She furrow her brow.

“You…can’t go… in…your highness” the herald stuttered knowing the type of power she possess.

“Your time in this world is ending today” she glared at him boring holes in him.

“Your highness….”

“Die” she ordered her eyes changing to gold.

“Ahh” the herald groaned going down and everything went dark, his ear bleeding.

“You forced me” she rolled her eyes pushing the door to the chamber open.

Her eyes widened seeing the scene before her.

Her sister was in the hands of her husband on the bed, his crôtçh inside her.

“Who dare…..” the King choked the remaining word inside of him seeing the person that opened the door.

The king pulled out of the lady under him.

“Sera…..” the lady under him called out tears brimming in her eyes.

“I know you are a king and you have concubines but did it really have to me MY OWN BLOOD” Seraphina said her eyes blod shot.

“Seraphina” Caspian called out as if nothing was happening.

“You are a bastard” she glared at him and he shrugged, her eyes shifted to Celina, her own sister.

“I’m disappointed” she muttered.

“Sera I’m sorry” Celine rushed towards her not minding the fact she’s naked.

“Sorry for what? Huh? Letting my husband thrust you? Or lying to me that you are going back to Mom? Or is it the fact that mom and dad are dead because of the stupid fun you are having minutes ago?” Seraphina yelled.

“Mom and Dad are de…wait what?!!” Celine eyes widened in terror.

“What are you talking about?” The king asked.

“Caspian you know what? We are so done with this loveless marriage” Seraphina scorned.

“You can leave” Caspian muttered not giving a damn and Seraphina took a step back walking out.

“Sera!” Celine dragged her back receiving a glare from Seraphina.

“Get that filthy hands of me Celine, don’t make me hurt you” she said.

“Sera…I know I did wrong and I’m sorry, I have no excuse to tell I didn’t know how I got here…I’m sorry please forgive me I didn’t know mom and dad will die…I didn’t know” Celine fall to the ground crying bitterly.

“They won’t wake no matter how much water you shed” Seraphina said her eyes blank and golden.

Celine saw the color of her eyes and she smiled bitterly.

“Sera…just kill me….it’s all my fault I was so foolish I was…just kill me…let out all your frustration on me..don’t hold yourself back…I was stupid” Celine said slapping herself hard.

Seeing the cold look on Seraphina face, she sigh.

“If you won’t do it, I will” she said, Emerald reaper appeared in her hand.

“Stop causing a scene here Celine, get lost” Caspian hissed walking into the washroom.

“Why did you do it” Seraphina muttered wiping the already fallen tears.

“I don’t know Sera, I suddenly found myself here” Celine replied.

“You expect me to believe that bullshit” Seraphina scoffed.

“I hope you figure out what happened here later” Celine smiled weakly removing the shield of the reaper.

Seraphina stared at her blankly not giving a fxck of what she was about to do.

She knows Celine won’t do it, Celine cares about her life more than anything, she has threatened to kill herself several times but she couldn’t do it.

“I know what you are thinking, unfortunately I’m doing it this time”

“Do it if you can” Seraphina muttered blankly leaving the room.

“I’m…sorry” Celine said shoving the reaper into her chest.

Seraphina stopped on her track looking back, her eyes widened rushing towards Celine.

“I’m…sorry Sera” Celine said blood spitting out of her mouth.

“Hey, why did you do it this time!” Seraphina yelled.

“I failed…you…Sera” Celine gasped for air.

“Mom and Dad left me now you are doing the same” Seraphina cry out holding Celine in her hands.

“I…was….drugged…Sera I’m…sorry” Celine muttered shutting her eyes forever.

“No!!!!!!!!!!!!” Seraphina scream out.

“Mom” she heard a voice behind her.

Wiping her tears she looked back at the little Ivana behind her, her son bethroted wife.

“Where is Magnus?” She asked.

“He chased me out of his room Mom, does he not like me?” The little Ivana asked.

“He does darling” Seraphina smiled weakly.

The little Ivana looked at Celine and cry out.

“Mom what happened to her” she said her voice shaking.

“She went to meet my mom” Seraphina said giving her a smile.

“You are my only friend and I know when you are smiling genuinely” Little Ivana said moving close to Seraphina wiping her tears which were falling already.

The mansion suddenly shook scaring the shits out of Ivana.

Caspian rushed out of the washroom, he glanced at the scene before him he sigh.

“Get your ass out in five minutes” Caspian ordered rushing out.

“Why did he talk to my friend that way? I don’t like the King” Little Ivana frown her face.

“It’s fine dear, Ivana you might never see me again but I want you to know I will always be around, I will send a blossom to you once the time is right, she will help you and Magnus child in the future” Seraphina said.

“Blossom?” Ivana asked.

“Yes my love, once she’s here then everything will be settled, I hope once that day come you will recognize her” Seraphina said carrying Ivana in her arms.

“Okay mom, but won’t you be here? During those times so you will recognize her”

“I’m your best friend and your mother figure so do you trust me?” Seraphina asked the little girl her son will be getting married to.

“A lot” Ivana grinned.

“Good then, so don’t worry everything will be fine” Seraphina said entering Magnus room.

“Mom” the little boy ran to her.

“Hey darl” she said bending down dropping Ivana.

“Mom why is your eyes puffy” the little boy asked.

“She was crying” Ivana said and the little boy face frowned.

“Dad caused it again?”

“No dear, I’m fine” Seraphina said.

The door suddenly opened widely showing a angry Caspian.

“You never listen” he snapped glaring at her.

“Ivana don’t forget what I said” Seraphina sigh leaving.

The door to the kids shut close.

“The war started already, everywhere is in chaos and you are here!!!!” Caspian thundered immediately they went far from the kids.

“You drugged Celine didn’t you?” She glared at him.

“I asked her bluntly and she refused so I did it, I didn’t kill her I only made her a vegetable for the mean time while I fxck her” he scoffed.

“I hope karma finds you Caspian” Seraphina simply said walking out of his sight.

“This woman” Carrius grits his teeth.

“My king, the witches are also involved” his regent rushed towards him.

“Fxck” Caspian growled.

Seraphina kept on walking drowned in sorrow, walking to a place she doesn’t even know.

She pushed Celine too much till the girl killed herself.

‘What a horrible sister she was’ she cried inwardly.

Seraphina stopped walking feeling a dark power.

Witches.

“You guys should come out and stop lurking behind like a coward” she scoffed.

“I hate your guts” a witch muttered coming out of her hidden place.

“There we go” Seraphina chuckled seeing them coming out one after the other.

Her pupils dilated seeing someone there.

“Arachne?” She muttered in shock.

“Ohh Seraphina I’m sorry but I’m here for mine and my people benefits” Arachne said with a smirk on her face.

“I trusted you as a sister and you did this” Seraphina scoffed.

“Causing your end, I wanna know the feeling having the world right under your feet” Arachne grinned.

“I’m sorry to burst your bubble because I won’t allow you” Seraphina said and Arachne chuckled.

“It wasn’t a request Sera my friend” Arachne said.

“Actions speaks louder” Seraphina muttered a ball of fire growing in her hand.

“Right” Arachne chuckled and they all attacked Seraphina.

Seraphina threw the ball towards the others witches and they waved it perfectly attacking Sera with whips.

“Damn you Caspian” a man gritted his teeth staring at Carrius.

“Attacking me in my own kingdom is more of a weakling, Rex” Caspian smirked.

“Are you sure? You were planning the same” Rex scoffed.

“You planned well tho” Caspian said both turning their shaft to a sword attacking each other with it.

The mansion was filled with blood, bodies of dead soliders as both soldiers from different kingdom didn’t give up.

Exchanging deadly weapons and power killing many of them.

Caspian and Rex fight still didn’t stop both clashing swords.

Both were powerful being, none able to beat each other.

Rex avoided an attack from Caspian sliding his sword down to cut Caspian but he was quick to jump slashing his sword in Rex back.

“Fxck” Rex cursed attacking Caspian with rage in his eyes.

Rolling his hand, a heavy tornado formed causing heavy wind attracting the objects beside it like a magnet.

“Wrong choice” Caspian smirked.

The tornado moved swiftly towards Caspian clearing everything on its path.

Caspian raised his shaft the cloud changing color.

“A mere rain won’t affect it” Rex smirked pushing his hand forward the tornado speeding towards Caspian.

“Wrong, that’s to others not me” Caspian smirked hitting his shaft on the floor causing a heavy downfall of rain.

The tornado stopped immediately making Rex frowned.

Both attack each other again turning their shafts into swords.

Both were bleeding already due to the injury each sustained from each other but Rex was bleeding more.

Caspian raised his hand to stab Rex but he was quick to dodging him moving far from him.

Rex turned his sword to blades, releasing it all towards Caspian.

Caspian jump waving it, slashing them but one was able to cut his leg deeply making his legs fail him till he fell to the floor.

Immediately Rex summoned demons from the floor holding Carrius down.

Caspian growled trying to set himself free but the demons sink their nails into him.

“Damnit” he cursed.

“Gotcha” Rex smirked.

“You think you can get me through this motherfxcker” Caspian grits his teeth.

“I got you already” Rex chuckled sinking his shaft into Caspian leg.

“Fxck” Caspian cursed under his breath pain filling him.

“Scream out you are in pain Caspian” Rex smirked thrusting the shaft into his second leg.

“Slit my throat then” Caspian smirked.

“I hate that pride of yours” Rex scoffed a sword appearing in his hand.

The smirk didn’t leave Caspian face as he watch Rex.

Rex raised the sword up landing it on Caspian arm.

Rex smirked bending down holding Caspian right hand.

“Your hand is gone, what will you do now, still keeping that pride huh?” Rex smirked.

Caspian smirk deepened. “Cutting off my hand won’t guarantee you living”

“I love your guts” Rex smirked his hand penetrating into Caspian eyes.

“Fxck!!” Caspian groan out and Rex smirk depeened.

“Yes, cry out” he mumbled seeping his hand deeply inside his eyes.

“Stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Came Seraphina voice.

“Your king is dying today” Rex smirked as he pluck out Caspian eyes.

Caspian soldiers stopped seeing their king defeated thus giving Rex soldiers opportunity to strike more.

“We are not done” Arachne said behind Seraphina.

“This war isn’t over today” Seraphina said seeing her kingdom almost defeated.

“When then tell me?” Arachne laugh out.

“Blossom along with her lord will defeat you all” Seraphina smirked.

“Your existence will come to an end as a queen, so what blossom are you ranting about” Arachne scoffed.

“If I die then you all won’t achieve what you want right?” Seraphina smirked.

“You hold yourself at high position” Arachne rolled her eyes.

“Because I am, I’m doing this so the war won’t end” Seraphina said.

“Don’t you dare kill yourself? You are a real coward” Arachne scoffed.

“The war was never mine to win” Seraphina said.

She looked around, her people are dying a tears find their way out of her eyes.

“Yes fxcking cry b***h” Arachne laugh out.

“Wait and watch who cry in pain later Arachne” she snapped her hand and her body turned to ashes immediately.

“WTF!!!!!” Arachne scream out.

Everybody paused feeling the cloudy wind.

“What have your wife done!!!!!!!!!!!” Rex screamed out in frustration.

“I will be back” Rex grits his teeth and Caspian laugh out.

“You lose loser” he tucked out his tongue.

“I didn’t because I still have an upper hand here” Rex said.

“Retreat everyone” he ordered leaving.

“I won’t give up little King” Arachne said tapping his cheek before disappearing with her colleagues.

Calantha eyes were teary as fxck, they were red as blood, her veins popping in anger.

Both are paying on the bed, her head in his chest.

“What of Caspian?”

“He died repaying for his sins” Kaal replied.

“They went through so much”’she muttered breaking down.

“Queenie it’s just a phase of life they must pass” Kaal mumbled.

“Arachne is still alive lurking somewhere I’m sure of that but what of Rex?” Calantha asked.

“Both are alive, I know where Arachne is but Rex isn’t here, he is in your world” Kaal cup her cheek.

“Hmm, so the war back then we will be the one to complete it” She uttered more like ordering.

“Yes Queenie” Kaal chuckled.

“After Seraphina death what changed, what did they need her for?” She asked.

“She’s an instrument for them but an angel to the world, her powers can erase the world and it can save the world” she muttered.

“You can erase the world and I can save the world” Calantha uttered putting the words together.

“Right, her powers were divided one for me one for you” he muttered.

“The dead one’s breath again immediately Seraphina killed herself, that includes Seraphina parents and her sister” he added.

“Thank goodness, they are fine, are they still living?” She asked.

“Her parents died when mom gave birth to me, they were quite old while Celine no one knew where she went, she just disappeared, while I was five years mom and Dad found out she went to the modern world and married someone and birthed two girls”

“Woah, so her girls are around my age, is she possibly still alive I mean how did she survive for two decades till now” she said.

“She have the rejuvenation spell” Kaal replied.

“I really want to see her” Calantha sigh.

“Ask Mom” Kaal suddenly said his face turning cold.

“Mom?” She raise her brow.

“She knows where Celine is” he said.

“She’s hiding it from you” Calantha asked.

“Yh but I know she knows the whereabouts of Celine, there is a passage in her room no one knows she’s not even aware I know about it” he scoffed.

“Why is mom being secretive” she sigh.

“Enough questions for the day” Kaal said hovering over her.

“I’m a researcher yunno” she shrugged crossing her hands on his neck.

“I appreciate that fact, if you weren’t a researcher you won’t be here by my side yunno” he connected their lips.

His hand went to her back unzipping her cloth while her hand find their way to his shirt.

“Eve calm down” Bianca said coaxing her.

“I’m trying to be calm but she’s making it hard” She remarked and Mabel shrugged.

“Explain what you mean?” Lily said sitting down.

She’s also confused, figured out Calantha possess power now she’s hearing Evelyn is a goddamn witch.

What else will she know staying here.

Mabel sigh the three friends eye on her.

“Our mother….she’s the queen of Dark Haven coven, I mean she’s the queen of the witches. She got pregnant while she was satisfying herself with a man which I don’t know. I was taken away from her by someone unknown, took me to a s**t place” Mabel sigh.

“And?” Evelyn raise her eyebrow.

“I was told I’m a witch, birthed by a powerful witch, that’s all I was ever told, I guess our mother figured out her children were missing she called me by the name given unto me while I was in her tummy, Xylara. When I was 20+ I heard someone whispering this name to me for the first time I went blue nose ear and mouth bleeding and the old woman with me took care of me, she told me to cut a strand of my hair anytime the whisperer calls the name Xylara and that’s how I have been living till the old woman died and I met Kaal and Eddy, Kaal told me to work as a maid for Maude from Kyros kingdom so as to get information and pass it to him” Mabel explained.

“You know Kaal that’s kinda shocking” Lily uttered.

“No one knows about this” Mabel replied.

“So now the same thing happen to me so I’m a witch..Ohh fxck” Evelyn laugh out tears falling from her eyes.

“I don’t know who took you to the city but the person did us good by taking us far from her, the girl she gave birth to after us is now where to be found, she’s laying somewhere inside a hut” Mabel snorted.

“That means my parents…” Evelyn muttered shocked.

Her parents knew about all this.

Why?

“Mm, who is our mother?” Evelyn couldn’t help but ask.

“Arachne and our baby sis name with her is Khaos” Mabel replied.

“Arachne, the witch” Bianca gasped.

“You know her?” Lily asked.

“She attacked my team the last time I came here” Bianca responded.

“Pfff” Evelyn puffed out.

She must meet this mother of hers.

“Now you two are here, are we sure it’s just the two of you?” Lily said.

“Thinking the same” Mabel shrugged.

“Damn”

something bad is coming up which I’m sure of, the war they were not able to complete will be resurfacing now Kaal and Calantha are together” Mabel uttered.

The three ladies sigh.

“Nick?” Edwin called out seeing him blink his eyes.

Nick let out a grosn opening his eyes to meet Edwin and he flinched a little.

“What are you doing here? And why do I look pale?” He asked looking at his hand.

“Good you don’t remember” Edwin muttered.

“Remember what?” Nick narrowed his eye.

“You were saying some words” Edwin said passing him a glass of water.

Nick took the water drinking it all in a gulp.

“Woah cool down” Edwin chuckled.

“Why do I feel that you are a seer Nick?” Edwin blurted out.

“What the fxck are you saying?” Nick rolled his eye.

“Sorry” Edwin chuckled going out.

“You better be” Nick scoffed after him.

“Suit yourself” Edwin gave him a middle finger.

Queen Ivana was typing something on a keyboard in her underground house.

Her face was cold as her eyes caught something in the screen.

“What is in that head of yours Ivana?” The jailed woman muttered.

Ivana ignored her looking at the picture in her screen.

A picture of a man with a woman a child in their hands.

“Rex” the jailed woman eyes widened seeing the picture.

“Shut your lips or I shut it for you” Ivana glared at her.

“Once Kaal knows who did everything do you think he will forgive you” The jailed woman said.

“That isn’t your calling aunty Celine my mom sister so just shut the fxck up” Ivana smirked.

“Small Aunty, it suit you don’t you think, my mother in law sister or perhaps my mom or is it friend” she added.

“You changed this much Ivana, Seraphina didn’t train you this way” Celine muttered.

“You took her husband didn’t you? I know of your deeds Aunty Celine so stop the show” Ivana scoffed.

“My deeds? Is it the fact I married an enemy? I birthed for him? Don’t forget you are worst I can’t even spit it out ” Celine snapped.

“Don’t use that tone on me, Aunty Celine I want to ask a question why did you used rejuvenation spell, you know what you don’t deserve me calling you aunty Celine so let’s just use Celine, don’t you think so Celine? I look older than you yunno” Ivana smirked freezing Celine from her leg.

“Don’t bother I can’t be an aunty to a wolf in sheep clothing and yeah I kept my daughters from you guys reach,if you think it’s a grave offense hiding them from you then I’m sorry I will do it again if I’m opportuned to” Celine rolled her eyes.

“Ohh, your deed are unforgivable but never mind since they are here already I can do whatever I like” Ivana smirked.

“Whose deeds is unforgivable between you and I Ivana? I’m ashamed my sister raised you as her own and made you marry her son” Celine grits her teeth, the block reaching her stomach.

“Shut the fxck up” Ivana snapped.

“You know what Ivana? One day they will know about this evil side of yours” Celine grits her teeth the block reaching her chest.

“Suit yourself” Ivana scoffed.

“They will find me, my daughters will” Celine said and the block covered her fully.

“Your daughters? Those fools?” Ivana chuckled snapping her head the block showing Celine face.

“The so called fools are here which I know you are aware of” Celine smirked.

“Good you know I know them, The elder one is a little wise but the junior the so called chosen queen…nah she’s a fool, really easy to fool” Ivana laugh out maniacally.

“They will be your end Ivana” Celine grits her teeth.

“We will see the fools try then”
