Chapter Twenty Six

He stopped and wink at Evelyn showing her his set of white teeth.

Her heart literally stopped beating.

“Stop flirting with me” she said closing her eyes.

“I dare not to” Rylan said as he see Suprema Mansion ahead of him.

Calantha was pacing in the doorstep of the mansion.

“Queen Calantha” Rylan muttered standing in front of her.

“She did this?” Calantha grit her teeth seeing Evelyn condition.

Khaos and Edwin also stopped standing in the doorstep with the injured ones in their back.

“Come in, I will meet her later” Calantha said entering the mansion.

“Get the physician here” Kaal ordered a guard.

“Yes Supreme Lord” the guard replied walking out.

“Today is gonna be a long day” Bianca sigh.

Kyros Mansion***

“Your mansion is quite big” Blessing cooed staring at the big mansion before her.

“Not as big as Suprema” she added.

“Everyone knows that” Mabel shrugged as they enter.

“Duhh” Blessing muttered following her.

“You are here” Odessa remarked seeing her daughter.

“Is that a question or what, isn’t this my mansion” Maude scoffed.

“You were punished by Supreme Lord so I was surprised seeing you here and you don’t need to be rude, same as Carrius” Odessa rolled her eyes walking away.

“She’s your mother right?” Blessing asked.

“I will be disowning her one of this days” Maude said looking at Odessa retreating figure.

“People out there yearn for a mother and you want to disown the one you have” Blessing chuckled.

“I’m Princess Maude not people” Maude stated.

“Apologies princess Maude” Blessing smirked and Maude chuckled.

“This is my room stay here I will be back” Maude opened her room door.

“Don’t be long” Blessing muttered entering and the door locked.

“Princess Maude is here” the Herald in Carrius room announced.

“Let her in” Came Carrius voice and Maude proceed in.

“Dad” she smile bowing.

“Why are you here?” He said with a blank face.

“You didn’t even ask how I’m faring” she pouted.

“I’m not repeating my question” he snarled.

“Suprema mansion isn’t settled, her friend and my maid were taken” Maude said and Carrius raise his brow.

“Mabel is Kaal friend and I mean close friends, you would mistake them for lovers” Maude scoffed.

“What?”

“I found out recently, Kaal almost killed his self thinking he killed that b***h so Mabel comforted him and he behaved like a baby in her arms” Mabel hissed.

“Mabel? How come she’s working for you then?”

“She was sent by Kaal for God knows why” she replied.

“She was taken recently by who!”

“Arachne, she took Mabel and Evelyn, they are her twin which was taken away from her years ago” Maude remarked.

“WTF”

“Yeah everyone is shocked as well, I’m sure they will be back at the mansion by now, Rylan and Edwin left to save them when I left the mansion”

“This is one big news” Carrius smirked.

“Yeah” she shrugged.

“But whats that smirk on you?” She raise her brow.

“You are still too little to understand” he chuckled.

“Anyway I just came here to tell you that and I want to feel like a princess for a while before going back to Suprema so I will get going to my room now” she said.

Carrius nodded, she bow before leaving.

“Mabel is it now” Carrius smirked and Odessa walk in.

“Don’t do anything stupid to that girl Carrius” Odessa said.

“And why do you care” he snapped.

“I’m too busy to give an explanation to a dumb king” Odessa hissed going to her closet.

“Mind your language Odessa” Carrius boomed his face red with anger.

“Do your worst Ohh sorry your worst isn’t even something to be afraid of” she remarked putting her cloth inside a bag.

“And what the heck are you doing” he asked looking at the bag which was full of her cloth already.

“What does it seems like?” She scoffed.

“I hope it’s not what I’m thinking” he snorted and she shrugged.

“Watch me” she packed all her cloth inside two bag, taking another bag she put all her things inside.

She clean the bead of sweat that had formed in her head already, looking at the five bags before her.

“Where are you going to?!” Carrius snapped.

“A place far from a psycho which is you” she snorted, she chant some words and the bags disappeared.

“Seems like you’ve fallen out of love for me Odessa” he chuckled.

“Definitely and you know what? I hate you now” she remarked walking out.

“Come back here” he dragged her by the hand and she glared at him.

“Let me go Carrius!” She snapped.

“You are not going anywhere woman” he snarled.

“And why can’t I go? Don’t tell me you’ve find yourself liking me already and can’t see me leaving” she guffaw.

“Ridiculous” he scoffed releasing her from his hold.

“See you later” she mouthed walking out.

“If you leave you are never setting your boring feet in here” he seethed.

“Come on you know me, once I stop liking a candy I hate seeing it” she chuckled and left.

“Go to hell!!” he yelled after her and all he could hear was her laughing more like a mocking laugh.

Suprema Mansion***

A yawn escape Calantha lips after healing Evelyn and Mabel wound, while the physician was still busy healing Nick’s.

“You are tired you should take a rest” Evelyn said.

“I’m fine, Kaal wanted to pass some information before I came so he have to do it before we retire to our chamber” Calantha said yawning again.

“Fxck it all you are taking a nap” Kaal said with a no nonsense tone.

“I’m really fine” she said nodding her head.

“Calantha you are quite stubborn” Mabel chuckled.

“I’m not being stubborn I’m really fine” she pouted.

“I’m not buying that” Kaal said carrying her in a bridal style.

“If I rest now then what you want to say will be put on hold” she ordered.

“Yes your highness” Kaal groaned and they all chuckled.

“Call me the name again it really suit me” she giggled.

“You are a queen stop behaving like a little baby” Celine said.

“She’s always a baby” Ivana chuckled and Calantha face turn cold.

“Don’t appear before my face or I will make your face a horrible sight” Calantha snorted.

“Savage queen, shall we?” Kaal said.

“Absolutely” a smile replace her face looking at Kaal as they both teleport to their chamber.

“Celine didn’t you raise her well she’s so rude, a moron” Ivana hissed.

Lily matched towards her with a dangerous aura.

“Lily….” Celine call out knowing Lily will do something crazy.

Lily took a figurine and hit it on Ivana head.

“What the heck Lily” Ivana snapped as blood rush down her head.

“Call my sister a name again and I don’t mind becoming a murderer” she snapped.

“The fxck, chill” Edwin chuckled and she sent him a glare.

“Celine you should control your girls!!” Ivana yelled holding her bleeding head.

Lily took the broken pieces of figurine on the floor and raise it up ready to tear Ivana.

“I dare you to and you are dead” Ivana seethed.

“They don’t dare my girls” Celine chuckled.

“They love the game truth and dare” Evelyn snickered her eyes on Ivana hand which was on her bleeding head.

“Talks let me prove it to her” Lily muttered and sank the sharp object inside Ivana palm.

Ivana let out a shout and Celine smirked shooking the figurine inside her palm more, after making sure it leaves a hole she removed it.

“b***h” Lily cursed walking away.

“Rylan you should get a physician for the supreme lord mother before she die” Bianca chuckled walking away as well.

“I will treat her” Celine said taking strides towards Ivana.

“Stay the fxck away from me” Ivana seethed seeing stars already.

“You’ve lost blood and you need treatment, you don’t want to end up dead now do you” Celine rolled her eyes.

“I don’t…,” Ivana saw darkness before she could finish and her body slump to the floor.

“How did the former king put up with this woman” Evelyn muttered and Rylan shrugged.

“Take her to her room the physician will soon be done with Nick” Rylan ordered a guard.

“Yes Regent” The guard said and took the unconscious Ivana to her room.

“It’s all settled then” Rylan muttered walking away.

Evelyn looked at his retreating figure, remembering him kissing her a smile form on her lips.

Celine cleared her throat and she snapped out of her trance coughing out.

“Erm…my throat is dry….I…I should get a glass of water” she stuttered walking towards the place Rylan went.

“That isn’t the kitchen” Edwin said.

“What are you doing Eve” Evelyn mumbled to herself.

“I guess the water is in your room right?” Celine said holding back her laughter.

“Oh…yeah I just remember” she said running away from the awkward environment.

“My sis is so cute” Mabel gushed and Celine gave her a look.

“Let’s talk Mabel” Celine said.

“Yeah sure” Mabel replied.

Evelyn hum finding her way to her room but she stopped seeing Rylan talking to a maid.

The maid face was red like a tomato and Rylan had a smile plastered on his face.

“He kissed me and now he’s flirting with another lady, truly a jerk” she huffed still staring at the scene before her.

The maid glanced at Evelyn, the two ladies maintaining eye contact, Rylan noticed the lady with him was looking at something so he tried to look back.

“Don’t” the maid stopped him and connected their lips.

Evelyn face turned cold immediately, she expected Rylan to push the maid away but he didn’t instead he placed his hand on her butt cheek.

She hate the sight before her, it felt like a needle piercing her…her heart.

The maid eyes locked with Evelyn again as she slip her hand under Rylan shirt.

Evelyn let out a sigh, the maid is trying to make her jealous, what the fxck.

“Get a room damnit” she snapped and the two adults disengage from each other.

Rylan eyes widened seeing her and he pushed the maid away from him.

“Evelyn what are you doing here?” He asked scratching the back of his neck.

“Doing shits outside your chamber do you really think nobody will see and do well to remember my chamber is right beside yours so what’s with the damn question” she snorted.

‘Evelyn control yourself, it’s normal for him to kiss a girl you are not his girlfriend afterall’ she mumbled to herself.

“Ohh yeah sorry I…”

“You don’t need to give her an explanation Regent, let’s continue our business in your chamber” the maid said glaring at Evelyn.

“Stop giving me that look of me snatching your man” Evelyn hissed walking inside her room.

Rylan hold her wrist and she gave him a look.

“What?”

“It’s not what you think I….”

“Say that to your girlfriend if you have one not me, we have nothing together” Evelyn said.

Rylan sigh releasing his hold on her and she matched inside her chamber jamming it.

“Regent why….”

“Get lost” He cut her off.

“But…”

“I said get the fxck!!!” He yelled and the maid flinched.

The maid glared at Evelyn chamber before stomping away.

Rylan sigh seeing her anklet on the floor, he bent and picked it.

“Evelyn..” he knocked on her door.

“Continue your business with your bitches stop disturbing me” Evelyn snapped and he sigh before leaving with the plan of giving her the anklet later.

Evelyn heard his retreating footstep and she groan.

She jumped on her bed the scene replaying in her head.

“Don’t be a jealous fool” she muttered smacking herself.

“Gawd knows how many he kissed already ” she muttered.

“Ahh” she groaned burying her face in the pillow.

“What the actual fxck is growing in that head of his” Leonard growled reading the message.

“What’s that?” Elijah asked.

Hearing no response Elijah snatch the phone from him reading the message.

“Kaal is becoming something else, I guess I underestimated Caspian grandchild” Elijah remarked.

“He is called Supreme Lord for a reason” Leonard scoffed.

“If he’s unbreakable then we use someone close to him to break him” Elijah seethed.

“You think I don’t know of that before, I have his very loyal one by my side” Leonard smirked.

“Loyal one? He’s smart enough to know who is loyal to him so play the game smartly” Elijah remarked.

“I will be seeing him myself so he won’t suspect anyone except me” He replied.

“Can’t wait to meet this loyal person” Elijah said.

“Soon, take a glass of blood and watch the scene play”

“I’m better with others not red, Vamp”

“What’s vamp?” Leonard chuckled.

“Vampire, I know your little secret yunno” Elijah smirked.

“Oops”

“Your cover is beneath my feet already so I can see you clearly now” Elijah said.

“You should take a nap Queenie” Kaal repeated.

“No I won’t unless you cuddle me” she replied sitting on his lap.

“Fine” he groaned carrying her to the bed.

“Your work is just to cuddle me” she said laying on the bed.

“Hmm” he muttered laying down as well.

She lay her head on his hand their lips brushing each other.

“Don’t tempt me Queenie or you won’t leave this bed today” he remarked.

“I love you too” she said and he chuckled.

“I never said I love you”

“You said it seconds ago anyway what were you planning on saying before I arrived” she asked.

“Part is about Evelyn, the person who tried to kill her”

“Who?”

“Take a nap Queenie there is a lot of question that will pop in if I say the name” he said patting her hair.

“Fine” she said facing her back on him.

“Rest well” he said as his hand snake around her waist and burying his face in her neck.

“I missed you” he muttered.

“I guess I really need to tell you what happened” she sigh.

“I know it already Queenie”

“How? Did you invade my privacy?“ she faced him.

“You don’t have a privacy if you belong to me, Harry asked Avery and she told him everything” he replied.

“Oh but I sill want to tell you” she pouts.

“I’m all ears”

“When I turned to a butterfly I appeared in a white palace more like a heaven and guess who I saw” she beamed.

“Goddess?”

“Yeah, she said her name is Freya, she’s hot and I mean it hot I wish I was as beautiful as her” She sigh.

“I won’t flatter you so continue with your story” he said.

“Never expected you to flatter me anyway, so she told me I’m made for you and some shits I don’t remember but I do remember some, there is someone in out midst whom we trust too much” Calantha said.

“I know the person already that’s part of the reason I called for the meeting”

“See who is smart” Calantha giggled.

“How about we get married tomorrow so you will be officially crowned the queen before we do anything” Kaal said and the room went silent.

“What do you think?” He mumbled and she rose from the bed.

“I’m dying inwardly for you to say those words all this while” she boomed jumping on the bed.

Kaal chuckled staring at the playful side of hers, who will ever know this lady have a dark side.

“I love you fiancée” he said.

The three words he never thought he will be saying to someone but here he is saying it.

“It’s mutual darling!! I love you too!!!!” She screamed.

“The Herald are probably hearing you outside” Kaal said.

“Fxck” she mouthed covering her mouth immediately.

Kaal tapped the bed and she lay beside him like an obedient child.

“Take a nap, we have to prepare for tomorrow later today” he said.

“My eye lids are really heavy and I won’t be waking anytime soon so please wake me in two or three hours time” she said shutting her eye.

“Go to sleep” he said and she buried her face in his neck.

“Dream about us” he muttered.

“Hey how are you feeling now?” Khaos muttered.

“I’m fine” Nick muttered.

“Let me pour you a glass of water” she said taking strides toward the center table.

“Khaos shall I tell you a secret?” Nick mumbled.

“Why do you want to tell me? Have you told anyone about it before?”

“Nobody knows about it except for the person that told me and some part I never told the person and I don’t know why I just feel like telling you” he chuckled.

“Okay” she said giving him the water.

Drinking to his full she collected the glass and placed it on the side table.

“So what’s your little secret?”

He sigh and narrated everything Ora told him, when he came from work to find his mother gone and all, He was sniffing already when he finished.

“I’m a crybaby” he mumbled wiping his tears.

Khaos had a blank look on, she’s in a trance.

“A penny for your thought” he snapped his hand in front of her and she fidget.

“Erm sorry I…I..I didn’t..I…”

“Khaos are you okay” Nick asked worriedly.

“This is crazy already” she said covering her face with her palm.

“What’s crazy? I’m sorry if it’s because of my story you are like this I didn’t know it will affect you this much.”

“It’s not that, I’m just….I’m sorry Nick I didn’t mean it…I never knew she…she was your mom..”

“What do you mean?”

“I killed her, I killed your family well except Ora”

“Excuse me” he furrow his brow.

“Arachne told me to kill them and I did and fortunately Ora wasn’t there, I went back to Arachne and…she told me your mom was in the city so I traced her there and…I…I killed her there I didn’t know she have a son…I’m sorry”

Nick looked at her in shock.

“Stop if it’s a prank” he chuckled.

“I’m sorry..”

“You are Arachne daughter which feels like a nightmare to me and now you are saying the worst, what the actual fxck” he growled.

She swallowed immediately.
