Chapter Twenty Seven

“You are Arachne daughter which feels like a nightmare to me and now you are saying the worst, what the actual fxck” he growled.

She swallowed immediately.

“I don’t really have any excuse all I can say is I’m sorry” Khaos mumbled going on her knees.

“Will sorry bring them back!! I fxcking slept with my family killers” Nick grunts.

“I’m sorry Nick” she muttered her hands holding his leg.

“I’m sorry…I will do anything you want please just….”

“Why did Arachne told you to kill them” he cut her off.

“I don’t know…I just did as instructed but she did said about avenging for her triplet” she replied.

“Triplet? How did my family have something to do with her children! I have things to say to that witch” he grits his teeth.

“I don’t know but your father have something to do with it”

“A father I don’t even know who he is, I only know he’s a guard” Nick groaned raking his hair backward with his hand.

“He’s not a guard, I’m sure of it, Arachne said something about him been powerful and someone important in the kingdom” Khaos said.

“Ora said he’s a guard and when I asked Mom she never said anything I’m really confused now” Nick puffed.

“I’m not in good relation with Arachne but I will meet with her”

“And get killed huh? You supported her enemies do you think she will still embrace you if you go back” Nick snorted.

“At least I died wile trying rather than just staying put even though I started it from the start” she sigh.

“Then go and die!” He yelled.

“I partially understand what you are feeling, I don’t know my Dad and Arachne treats me as a witch under her coven not as her daughter” Khaos muttered her eyes getting soaky.

“You won’t gain my sympathy by telling me this but i do know you and your mother caused my family death so if you are done here leave” Nick said.

“I will leave, I’m sorry again” she mumbled and walked out.

Nick let out a sigh rubbing the ring in his hand.

“Mabel why am I just knowing of the garden here” Evelyn cooed staring at the greeny garden in awe.

“You never asked” Mabel shrugged.

“It’s really peaceful in here” Bianca muttered closing her eyes.

“What really happened there?” Lily asked sitting on the bench in the garden.

“Well just a stupid mother wanting to claim right” Evelyn chuckled.

Mabel explained everything and Lily face went red with anger.

“That witch” she grits her teeth.

“The new maid is her daughter? Nick is friends with her does he know about it?” Bianca asked.

“He was shocked as well I doubt he knows she’s a witch, she’s clean to me though because she was against Arachne as well” Mabel muttered.

“She’s still a witch who lived with Arachne so we shouldn’t judge her character” Lily remarked.

“I wanna have a word with her though, she’s my sister yunno and it feels awkward not having a word with her at all” Evelyn said looking into space.

“You accept her?” Bianca asked.

“I don’t know but something is drawing me to her, she looks clean and we never know she might be one of Arachne assets, Arachne don’t have motherly feelings so she might just be using Khaos as her pet” Evelyn said.

“You have a point there but still we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, maybe we should just test her or something” Mabel said and Evelyn shrugged.

“You guys are trusting her and I won’t be a part of it, I’m not trusting that witch and her daughter” Lily remarked.

“I’m this so called witch daughter as well Lily, please don’t blame Khaos for Arachne mistakes” Evelyn said.

“Eve I’m not in this and that’s it, I don’t care what you guys do but I’m not interested” Lily shrugged.

“Forget it, she’s my sister not your sister so it’s fine” Evelyn said and Lily gave her a curtly look.

“Guys let’s chill” Bianca said feeling the atmosphere changing.

“She’s being judgy, what if that girl is just one of Arachne victims” Evelyn rolled her eyes.

“Evelyn we can’t just trust her like that and I do get what you are feeling and Lily please it’s Arachne who did everything not Khaos, this same Khaos helped us in the first place or we will be dead by now” Mabel explained.

“Fine you guys should do whatever you want” Lily scoffed.

“I will go have a word with her” Evelyn said walking out of the garden.

“You guys are fighting for something that isn’t worth it” Bianca remarked and a Herald walked in.

“Mabel, your princess seeks for you” an Herald said.

“Ohh where is she?” Mabel asked.

“In her chamber” the Herald replied and left.

“Your bitchy princess” Lily chuckled.

“Excuse me” Mabel muttered walking out.

Kaal Chamber***

Kaal chuckled hearing Calantha light snoring.

‘Our Queenie is back’ Harry grinned and Kaal smile grew wider.

Remembering something he sigh slipping away from the bed.

He takes stride towards his study room and a knock came at the door.

“Celine, the queen mother is here” A herald announced.

Kaal snap his hand and the door opened revealing Celine face.

A smile crept into Celine lips seeing Calantha sleeping soundly.

“I’m sure that’s not why you are here” Kaal said and she faced him.

“Partially though” she muttered and walked to him.

“Something serious?” He asked.

“We need to talk” Celine said.

“I’m listening” he said snapping his finger.

“What did you do?”

“Sound barrier” he replied and she nod.

“Kaal it’s about Ivana, you need to keep your eyes open and vigilant she has something up her sleeve, she’s not as innocent as she seems” Celine remarked.

“I know people who stays with me so you don’t have to worry about that” Kaal said.

“I know you do anyway, secondly the war? Do you know anything about it?”

“Definitely, they won’t see it coming, I mean how dare they underestimate me..I’m called Supreme Lord because I worth it” Kaal smirked.

“You seem proud of that name” Celine scoffed.

“Proud isn’t in my dictionary” he chuckled.

“I have something else to say but not now since I’m sure you know of it already” Celine remarked.

“I know it more than you do” Kaal muttered.

“Don’t take them as a child compared to you, they might become a bone in your neck later on” Celine warned.

“I will see them try” he replied a dark look plastered on his face.

“I will leave then” Celine said and walked out.

Kaal snap his hand and a red feather appear in his hand.

“Isn’t it time we meet red bird” he muttered and the feather moved itself.

“Kaal…” He heard Calantha call out and his gaze landed on her.

He fold his fist and the feather disappear, he walks toward the bed.

Calantha sits on the bed tapping her lap with a smile on his face he lay on the bed his head resting on her lap.

“Queenie you are growing more skin, seriously” Kaal said.

“Stop joking around” she rolled her eyes.

“Whatever you think but I’m serious, seems you love the place you were when you left me all by myself” he chuckled.

“Jealous now huh” she smirked.

“Ohh please” he laugh out.

“Kaal can we postpone our marriage till when the war end?” She muttered and he gave her a look.

“Why?”

“I’m not saying we are not marrying because you can’t get rid of me in this lifetime, all I’m saying is that we should marry at the right time when everything is settled” she remarked.

“Hmm, so when is the right time?” He chuckled.

“You know it stop teasing me” she said her face pinkish.

“I love it when you blush for me” he muttered his hand drawing circles in her thighs.

“Kaal okay for real we haven’t said anything about the war nor do we have a plan” she muttered sipping her hand inside his hair.

“I do have a plan, darling they really see me as a minor and I don’t like it one bit” he pouts.

“What will I do…..” she held back her word rushing to the washroom.

Kaal rushed after her only to see her puking in the sink.

“Hey are you okay?” He asked worriedly stroking her hair.

“Yeah” she replied washing her mouth.

“I will get the physician” he said and walked out.

Calantha sigh looking at her reflection a small smile in her face.

‘This is suspicious Cal don’t you think’ Avery muttered.

“What?” She replied.

‘You are getting plumpy and now vomiting’

“Is it what I think it is” she mumbled.

“What do you think?” Kaal asked entering the washroom.

“Nothing, let’s go” she shrugged and they both walk out.

“Where is the new maid?” Evelyn asked a maid for the upteenth time.

Since she left the garden sha have been asking all the maids but none seemed to know where Khaos is.

“I saw her walk out of the other guy chamber…I don’t know his name but he’s one of the researcher” A maid replied.

“Nick? Ohh why didn’t I think of him, thank you” she told the maid rushing to Nick room.

Reaching Nick chamber a Herald announced her presence and Nick opened the door for her and she entered.

“Hey!” Nick said awkwardly seeing her in his chamber.

“Sorry for coming here like this but please do you know where Khaos is?” Evelyn asked and she saw the change in his face her brow shoot up.

“Why did you black out just like that” she snap her hand in front of his face and he shake his head.

“Ohh sorry, you should check the maids quarter rather than checking this place” Nick shrugged.

“She’s not there, I asked some of the maid and none saw her the only one who saw her said she walked out of your chamber so that brought me here” Evelyn stated.

“She probably went to meet up with Arachne then” he muttered spacing out again.

“What?!”

“Yeah” Nick muttered and explained everything to her.

“WTF” Evelyn exclaimed.

“Yeah, Maybe that’s why she went to meet Arachne” he shrugged.

“She might not leave that place alive Damnit!! We both know how she walked out on Arachne that day do you think Arachne will spare her” Evelyn muttered worry laced in her voice.

“It’s not bad if my family killer die as well, that’s karma you know” he muttered.

“You are unbelievable” Evelyn said rushing out.

“My princess” Mabel bow.

“Good you still know who leads” Maude scoffed.

“So you are this submissive but you get all big when you are with Kaal” Blessing rolled her eyes.

“You don’t get to talk to me that way Blessing or whatever you are called, you are equal to a maid here as far as you hold nothing” Mabel snapped.

“How dare you” Blessing snarled.

“I’m too busy to for someone like you, you called for me my lady” Mabel said.

“Getting more nerves now” Maude raise a brow.

“It’s in the Kyros Kingdom maid rules, rule number 23 you are not expected to respect any other person except the person you are serving or someone with high dignitaries and the Blessing here have none” Mabel remarked.

“Just wow” Blessing muttered.

“Okay here’s the deal anyway, get Lily to me either by hook or by cranny and failure to do that will cost you your most valued gem” Maude smirked.

“Excuse me?” Mabel furrowed her brow.

“Get Lily to this said location to save what you value the most simple it’s not hard to understand” Blessing scoffed throwing a sheet of paper at her.

“I’m not doing that s**t” Mabel snapped.

“I’m not forcing you, it’s a win-win situation, do as I asked to keep your gem save and failure to do what I asked then your gem is gone” Maude remarked a big smile plastered on her face.

“What gem are you talking about?!” Mabel asked.

“You know what I’m talking about, I give you twenty four hours to get Lily to the location in that sheet, leave” Maude ordered covering her eyes.

“It’s up to you yunno” Blessing chuckled.

“Who will I tell now I can’t go alone….Cal is probably sleeping and Kaal with her, Mabel is with Maude oh s**t” Evelyn groan pacing in her chamber.

“Lily…no she doesn’t like Khaos…who who who who Rylan…yes Rylan” she muttered running out.

She sigh reaching Rylan chamber.

“Okay you can do this” she puffed and the door open.

“Vel you came here is there a problem?” Rylan asked shocked to see her there.

“See I need you help…Khaos went to meet Arachne I don’t know what’s going on there and I can’t go myself so please maybe you tell some guards to follow me or you follow me” she said breathing heavily.

“Hey it’s fine let’s go” Rylan said closing the door of his chamber as get match outside.

“Please we need to hurry” Evelyn muttered.

“How about we teleport there” Rylan said.

“How?”

“Come closer, I hold you closer to me all you have to do is close your eyes and by the time you open them we are there already” Rylan remarked.

“Fine then” Evelyn said moving closer to him.

His hand snake around her waist and her hand circled around his neck burying her face in his chest.

A smile crept into his lips as the atmosphere between them change.

“We are there” he mumbled and she opened her eyes looking at her environment.

“I hate this place” she grits her teeth looking around.

“No!!!!!!” Arachne scream out looking at herself in the mirror.

Her face looks wrinkled, sunken eyes, dried lips and crooked nose.

Her hair all white, her fingers bony with long dirty nails and hunched back.

Odessa appeared in the room with a bottle in her hand, Arachne gave her a look.

“Look at what you brought to yourself” Odessa sigh giving Arachne the rejuvenation spell.

Arachne snatched the potion and drank everything in the bottle in one gulp.

Immediately her hair turned black, her face free from wrinkles and her eyes no longer sunken.

Minutes later she looked like before though not perfect like before but it was still better.

“Earlier the better, I have to push up with my plans earlier than I planned” Arachne sigh staring at her appearance.

“Arachne can you stop your arrant nonsense already” Odessa groaned.

“It’s not nonsense to me, Mom will appreciate me because I’m the only one aspiring to give the witches a future” Arachne muttered smiling.

“By killing and causing end to humanity is that it?!” Odessa snapped.

“Yes, those humans are just one useless and horrible souls, all they crave for is power and fame, the ones who don’t think twice to kill their type for power so what’s the purpose of keeping them” Arachne scoffed.

“How is their quest for power disturbing you, let them be Arachne, fine I get they are one stupid people who don’t love each other but…”

“No buts Odessa, if you are not interested then leave no one’s begging you to join” Arachne cut her off.

“I’m leaving, I will do well to come back to perform your last rites if your remains are seen” Odessa said and disappeared.

“My remains? Or their remains” Arachne smirked.

“Arachne!!” She heard Khaos yelled outside and her smirk disappeared a big frown on her face.

She chants some word something appearing in her hand and Khaos appeared in the room with a scowl on her face.

“Why? Why did you ask me to wipe Ora family?” Khaos asked.

“And how dare you fxcking go against me and left with our enemies” Arachne grits her teeth a wind from nowhere blowing her hair backward.

“I’m not scared of you Arachne, why the heck did you tell me to kill Ora family!” Khaos snapped.

“Snapping at me now uh? Don’t forget who you…”

“Yeah the only survivor from the sperm one of your asshole released into you” Khaos hissed.

“Good you know, now bow to gain my forgiveness” Arachne smirked.

“Me bow to you? I’m sorry but that won’t be happening” Khaos scoffed.

“Why are you so on about Ora family? Is it about that little boy you have been follwoing all this while? I don’t mind killing him now to get your head straight” Arachne grits her teeth.

“Nick is the son of the woman you told me to kill years ago, Ora still have a family” Khaos smirked.

“WTF!!! Why didn’t you kill him back then!!” Arachne screamed.

“Stop screaming if you don’t want your lung torn, I have one question Arachne why did you tell me to kill that family? What was their offense?” Khaos muttered sweeping her hair behind her ear.

“That boy father is a demon, a real demon who destroys people, a Demon who isn’t meant to be living” Arachne snorted.

“Who is he?”

“You don’t wanna know” Arachne scoffed.

“Say the fxcking name Arachne!!” Khaos yelled.

“I’m giving you a chance now to kill that boy or I kill him myself and send you to him in the aftermath” Arachne smirked.

“In yours dreams Arachne” Khaos scoffed.

“Dont blame me for being ruthless” Arachne said.

“You’ve always been ruthless Arachne”

“Really? Maybe I should become something much worse than ruthless” Arachne laugh out her aura screaming a witch vibes.

“You are beyond repair Arachne” Khaos muttered.

“I will be vicious to you first” Arachne smirked chanting some word.

Khaos let out a grunt feeling a strong grip on her neck.

“Ohh my darling, you are making me end your life this way” Arachne smirked, the grip on Khaos neck becoming more tight.

Arachne stretch forth her hand and Khaos felt a wind pushing her till she reach Arachne stretched hand.

“Let me tell you a secret darling, guess who your Dad is?” Arachne smirked tightening her grip on Khaos neck.

“S..stop” Khaos murmured feeling life slipping away from her.

“You and the triplet have one Dad and he is someone you don’t expect” Khaos let out a whimper.

“Forget it just die peacefully” Arachne opened her mouth and a smoke emit from Khaos face entering Arachne mouth.
