She raised only one hand because the other hand was in a cast. Aaron then pulled his gun away and hand cuffed the girl's hands together. "Come with me to the office!" She was pushed by Aaron back to his car. "Officer, please let me go. I'm just a passerby, you know?" "I heard what you said the last time. Don't joke around and stay silent in the car!" Aaron pushed the woman to the back of his car and went to his office. Inside the car, the woman bit her lips nervously. She was taken to the police! A few hours ago. "Uncle, take me to Southside Campground." Eva said as she went inside the taxi. "Right away." Soon, they arrived at Southside Campground. Eva said, "Uncle, please wait for me." Eva stepped out of the taxi, her eyes scanning the campground. She spotted a child ghost who was running around in the field. "Hey, child!" Eva called him. At first, the child didn't realize that he was the one who Eva called, so he still ran around the field. Eva bit her lips. Thank god there was no crowd, so she raised her voice once again, "Hey, child on the field!" The ghost automatically stopped his activity and turned back at Eva. Eva's eyes soon widened in shock after seeing the child's face. Half of it was full of blood and wounds. His skin seemed to have peeled off and only flesh was left. Eva swallowed her saliva as her body trembled. She didn't know how the child died but looking at the wound he had, it was beyond terrifying. The ghostly child approached Eva, his unsettling smile sending chills down her spine. "Sister, you can see me?" "Yes, I can.." Eva replied fearfully. "Woahh... So happy! Hihihi..." The ghost child happily ran around Eva's body. "It is my first time to meet someone who can see me. I'm glad!" "Why is that?" "You see sister, my face is bad, right?" Eva nodded. Unlike before when she saw his back, when he turned around and showed his face, Eva quickly became more quiet and tended to look down. She was not brave enough to see the child. Then, the child spun around and magically, his face was no longer scary. He turned into a beautiful and cute child. "Look sister! Am I cute?" asked the child as he sincerely smiled at Eva. Seeing that, Eva could no longer be afraid anymore. She smiled back at him and said, "Right, you are so beautiful! Since you are this beautiful, can I ask you something?" "What do you want to know?" "There was a head that was found in the lake around here. Do you know anything about that?" "Umm... You mean the lake there?" The child pointed at the location of the lake. "Umm.. do you know any roads or passages beside here? The kind of road where cars can go?" "I know!" "You do? Can you tell me about that?" "I can, but you have to grant my request." "Alright. As long as it's not taking the sun and the moon, I can do it." "Hahaha... You are funny, sister! I like you." "Okay. Spill it! I got no time left, child." "My wish is for you to take me to my parents and to see them one last time." "Whe-where are you going?" "You see, sister... Before, the angel came to talk to me. They said, I should leave this realm and join the underworld realm. If not, then my soul will be turned into an evil ghost. I don't want to be an evil ghost. They also said that they have a lot of children that were around my age. So, I won't be lonely anymore." "Hmm.. that's right. My grandmother also said the same thing. Don't worry. It won't be scary to live in the underworld." "So, I take it as a deal?" "What a mischievous guy, you little one! Okay, count on me. Now, tell me about what you know." "I'll take you there!" "You sure?" "Um.." "Okay, then go inside the car. But promise me that you can't speak to me inside the car or else the uncle in there will be angry." The child ghost cutely put his hand to cover his mouth. Eva laughed at the sight of it. Soon, eva went inside the taxi, followed by the child. Eva pleaded, "Uncle, please take me to another place." "Miss, I have to go home in another hour. Please search for another taxi." "Please, uncle. I'll pay you more." "Okay then.", Eva heaved a sigh of relief and looked at the child ghost beside her. "Sister after this road, turn right." Then, Eva told that to the driver. "Where else, miss?" Eva looked at the child again and he said to turn left. The ride went for another minute until the taxi went inside a village. "Miss, are you sure this is the right place?" "Yes, uncle. Please keep going." "The roads are really ugly in here. My car could be broken by it!" The taxi driver started to get impatient. "Please uncle.. I'll pay you more." Only after hearing that, the taxi driver nodded. They got out of the village only to see an old gate in front of them. "Please keep going, uncle." "This place looks scary. Am I being scammed here?" The driver looked at Eva through his rearview mirror. Eva took cash from her wallet and gave them to the driver. "Here, take it as the down payment." The driver then went inside the gate. "Sister, let's stop here. I have a friend who lives here." Hearing that, Eva stopped the driver and paid the remaining bills. After that, she followed the child inside the forest. "Sister Lu, I'm here!" The child shouted in the quiet forest. There was no response from Sister Lu. The child didn't give up and kept calling Sister Lu. Until suddenly, the air in the forest turned chilly. A fog started to fill the forest. Eva shuddered in horror at the forest atmosphere. Her body was trembling as she recognized the bone chilling aura. Something was coming!
