Cold Hearted...

Hash was taken by surprise by his sudden cold behavior, one moment he was all loving and the next he is very cold, "whats.." she couldn't ask what she wanted to because her phone rang and the display showed the caller as Se Hun.

Lu Han who wasn't oblivious, fumed and went to the bathroom. He examined himself in the mirror, and extended his hand to get the comb when he heard a crash, he ran out to see and that's when he saw Hash lying on the floor unconscious. He ran to her and lifted her in his arms and laid her gently on his bed.

"Jenny!!!" he shouted, "come here fast, Hash fainted!" He looked at the floor and saw that her phone call has not yet disconnected. Jenny came running to his room with a cup of water, "sprinkle some water on her quick!" Lu Han ordered, while he made a grab for her phone,"hello? Se Hun?"

"Hello? Hello? Oh, Lu Han what happened to Hash?" he asked in a panicked voice.

"What the hell did you tell her?" Lu Han gritted his teeth,"for her to faint?"

"Her father passed away."

A silence rang through the room, Lu Han looked at Hash and suddenly felt like wallowing in grief, he could see that she was in so much of pain, after all Hash loved her father the most, "When did father passed away?"

"Half an hour ago."

"What happened? I mean he was totally fine. He didn't.." Lu Han simply babbled not knowing what happened.

Se Hun sighed, "uncle wasn't feeling well since sometime back, he didn't want Hash to know about it. He had several heart attacks in the past few months, but.."

"Why the hell didn't you tell her!!" Lu Han roared, "did you think that after getting to know that her father was sick all this time and she didn't know anything would make her feel less sad?"

"Lu Han, just listen to me, uncle made us promise him that we wouldn't tell her. I couldn't break that promise. I wanted to tell her so badly but I was tied with my words."

Lu Han walked back and forth in his room, agitated, he ran his fingers through his hair, and looked at Hash and saw that she was gaining conscious, "I'll talk to you later Hash has come back."

Lu Han went to her side, "Hash...."

Hash, she simply cried, tears rolled down her cheeks and the she screamed! She screamed so loud and hard that made Lu Han's heart rip out in agony because of her pain. He hugged her tightly,"shhhhhhhh, babe, please don't cry,' and he rocked her in his arms.

Mr. Pearse's death shook Hash like never before, she felt as if she lost the one reason to live.

After all the rituals and the burial, it was the day where his last will was to be read.

Every family member has gathered, known and unknown, hoping for a small treasure. Hash was not at all bothered by any of this, neither did she want anything. She was huddled beside Lu Han, one good thing that happened after her father's death was that Lu Han had grown close to Hash, he had started to show his feelings. Hash snuggled up to him for his warmth, Lu Han hugged her tightly to his side. But then, they say that a man doesn't change quickly, it was the same with Lu Han, true that he had become more warm, but he was also expecting that he would have something from Hash's father; he was expecting more shares at the least.

But when the last will was read out loud, everything changed, nothing turned out to be as anyone expected. The entire Pearse and Co was passed out to Hash, not a single share was giving to anyone else, not only that, Mr. Pearse's shares in Lu Han's company had been passed out to Hash making her the major share holder. Other minor shares which he had in other companies was also passed out to Hash while his properties were evenly distributed among his close relatives and their mansion was given to her mother. Mrs. Pearse who didn't want anything to do with money or property and who had planned to fly abroad, due to her loss of her beloved husband gave everything to Hash. In an instant Hash became the most richest and the most wealthiest youngest woman in the city. Lu Han's fingers dug into Hash's shoulder causing her to wince in pain and look up at him. What she saw in his eyes made her cringe away from him, Hash didn't want any of these things, What she wanted was for her father to come back, she never found solace in wealth.

After several days they returned to their house. Lu Han hadn't spoken a single word with Hash ever since the will was read out. He went to his room straight away and slammed the door behind him. Hash, who didn't know what exactly was happening went to his room to demand what was wrong with him.

"What are you mad at?"

Lu Han whirled around, Hash took a step back scared at his angered eyes,"wh..aaat's wro..nnn..g?" she stammered.

Lu Han walked up to her, "Wrong!?" he asked, "let me tell you whats wrong." he dragged her to the study room, and released her all at once making her fall.

"When we got married your parents promised to give me their shares and half of your company to me!" He looked at her maddeningly, "but it turned out that you all have cheated me and my family! I didn't get a single penny form your father! And you!" he pointed at her with a death stare. "Now you are the owner of your company and you have all the major shares of my company." He suddenly walked up to her and pulled her to her feet, shaking her, "are you planning to take over my company as well?"

Hash was completely clueless as to what he was talking about,"I don't want any of this."

"Yeah right!"

"I'll give everything to you if that's what makes you happy."

Lu Han roughly pushed her aside and smirked,"do I look like a beggar to you?"

"That's not what I meant," Hash said with tear in her eyes.

Lu Han turned around and slapped her hard across her cheeks, sounding like a whiplash,"I don't give a damn about you or your bloody business."

Hash looked at him eyes wide open, she was no longer crying, but her heart was wounded, she felt humiliated and lost because it was the first time that anyone had ever raised a hand to her not even her parents had hit her. Hash who had enough,"how dare you!" she screamed,"how dare you hit me!?"

Lu Han simply raised an eyebrow,"why? You are my wife, I can do anything I wish."

"You bastard!" she shouted and raised her hand to hit him, but Lu Han was quicker, he caught her arm midway and twisted it making her cry out in pain. "How dare you raise your hand against me!"

"Why?" she asked while in pain yet with a smirk,"you are my husband, I can do anything I wish."

Lu Han pushed her aside, "that's it! I had enough! We shall no longer live together!"

Hash's eyes widen in horror,"what do you mean?"

Lu Han walked up to her,"we'll get a divorce!"

The time stopped, the world stood still, silence rang through the house, "no," she whispered, "you can't do that! I don't agree."

Lu Han smirked,"I'll file for a divorce tomorrow the first thing in the morning."

"NO, you cant do that," Hash knelt on the floor and clasped his leg,"Please no."

Lu Han smirked at her, pushed her aside with his leg,"do you expect me to listen to you?"

Hash stood up with shaking legs, she had enough, she did her best, she was humiliated, slapped, mocked at and now she would start to play this game in her own style to match his. Taking a deep breath,"fine! Do as you wish, but until the divorce I am going to live in this house."

"Who gave you the permission to live here?"

"Why?" she asked,"don't you remember, I have half the share to this house as well?"

Lu Han stopped for moment and remembered that his house was in the name of both his and hers.

Hash walked up to him,"Mr. Han, you didn't expect me to be a fool right?" She walked to the door and looked back at him,"you haven't seen me quiet well yet. I can play your game in your own style as well. Never ever test the limits of a sleeping jaguar, you never know what you will get." with a smirk that would make anyone shiver she walked out, slamming the door behind her.
