Give and Take

Hash leaning on the door breathed heavily, she no longer had tears for her to shed. She could still feel the hard slap on her face, she touched it tentatively and felt the imprint.

Gritting her teeth, "Mr. Han, I hope you are well armored," she smirked. "I'll make your life a living hell," she gritted and strode off to her room.

True to his words Lu Han called their lawyer early in the morning and filed for a divorce. After completing all the formalities Lu Han came down for his breakfast,"where is she?" he asked from Jenny.

"Why sir didn't you know that she left for work early in the morning?"

Lu Han's face hardened, throwing the napkin on the table he stormed out of the house.

Hash woke up in the morning with a complete resolution, she would no longer be the same Hash people spoke about, but instead a cold, reserved and a fearless woman. If Lu Han was going to play dirty, so was she. Hash, cannot change her personality over night, but she could put a marvelous act till she changes herself completely. Stepping into the company revoked old memories of her father and her when she was young and they brought tears to her eyes. She suddenly stooped on her feet, abruptly stopping all the guards and her secretaries to bump into each other.

"No! I can't be emotional. I can't show any feelings, I have to act cold!" she thought firmly. She took a deep breath and started walking towards her cabin which was once her father's.

No matter how hard a daughter tries to harden herself once she is in the presence of their father all their barriers dissolve away. Hash was no exception, once she stepped into her father's cabin, memories that she tried to forget came flowing, which brought tears to her eyes once again. She walked up to his table and lightly traced a finger around the edge. When she stood behind the table he saw a picture of her and her family stood facing her. She took the family picture to her hand and slightly traced her father's figure.

A knock on the door made her briskly to lay the photo back on the table.

"Mrs. Han," her secretary addressed her, "I am Lee Min Seo you personal secretary."

Hash walked around the table and leaned on it,"First thing first," she said without any emotions, "call me Ms. Hash and make sure that you want repeat the mistake again."

"Yee...ss" she stammered probably surprised at her cold behaviour.

Straightening, she paced around the room, "next is that, you will be available all the time. I don't care if it's midnight or dawn or at the hospital, when I ask you to do something you should be able to do it. Understood?' she asked whirling around at her.

"Yes ma'am," she murmured.

Turning back again, "the next thing is that you have to be punctual."

Lee Min Seo nodded vigorously.

"If you fail to follow these rules, then you could kiss your job good bye."

"Understood."

"Good," she said while walking back to the chair and sitting down,"now, your first work is to bring me all the financial files, employee files and the share holders files to me. Right now."

"Yes ma'am straight away," and she scurried out of the room.

The earlier Hash would have thought she would be crazy to sit in five meetings continuously through out the day, but the new Hash one mindedly sat for five meetings continuously the entire day.
