A Soothing Pain

It was past midnight when Hash returned home and when Hash looked at up at his room she saw him standing at the window, arms crossed and anger clearly visible on his face. They looked at each other for a while and Lu Han disappeared. Hash sighing and fingers crossed she stepped into the house. Thankfully Lu Han didn't come down, so she carefully placed her bag on the couch, without making a noise she tip toed to the kitchen and she dug her head into the fridge when suddenly the lights were switched on in the kitchen, gasping she turned around and saw Jenny standing at the door, with a blank face. Sighing,"you gave me quiet the fright."

Without a word she walked to the fridge opened it and took out some containers, and heated them in the oven. While all this was happening Hash quietly went and sat in a chair, her eyes moving with Jenny. Hash could see that Jenny was not in a very good mood. Jenny laid the table for Hash.

"Thank you Jenny," she said.

Jenny simply grunted and started to go back to the kitchen when Hash called out to her,"Jenny, can you at least sit with me till I finish my food? Please?" she pleaded.

Sighing she came and sat next to her.

"I know that you clearly don't like what I am doing right now, but I can't help it," she said with her head bent low over her plate.

Jenny looked sadly at her and felt sorry for her.

"I am trapped in this marriage, I don't want this marriage to fall apart. I Love him!" her words rang through the dining room. It was the first time she spoke out loud about her feelings to someone. No one knew about it, not even Se Hun, so it was natural for Jenny to suddenly snap and look at her with a shock in her face. She looked at Hash's face thinking that she was just kidding but she could see that she wasn't lying, her eyes were filled with tears and there was clear hopelessness in them.

"I an in love with him Jenny. I love him so much that it hurts."

Jenny stood up and hugged her from behind, rubbing her shoulder she tried to console her.

Next morning when Hash came down for breakfast Jenny or anyone could see that she had been crying the entire night, her eyes were puffed and red and there were dark circles under her eyes. Lu Han was already having his breakfast and he did not even bother to look up.

"Good morning," Hash mumbled. Lu Han ignored her as if she didn't exist in the room.

Hash tried to her very best to make him talk with her but he continued be a stone and that's when Se Hun came.

Hash blushed furiously when she remembered how she acted back at the office, but Se Hun simply laughed out and ruffled her hair, "I don't remember any of the things which happened in the office so lets forget about it ok?"

"Sorry," she mumbled feeling humiliated.

Lu Han who hadn't yet gone deaf though he acted blind couldn't exactly pin point what was going on. Pretending to eat he tried to eavesdrop on their conversation, but by now they have gone to the sitting room so he couldn't hear a thing. He slowly got up from his chair without making any notice and tip toed towards the sitting room. He hid behind a wall and peeped from there to see what was going on, Hash had her hands folded and her head bowed and she was talking about something quietly and she was definitely crying, as Lu Han could see tears falling and Se Hun was simply sitting in front of her listening to what ever she was telling. He was still sneaking up on them when a maid came out of no where making him jump a mile. Muttering a curse at her he walked back to the dinning table to finish his breakfast when he saw that his plate was already cleaned. Fuming, he when to work.
